    We saw the art of
    The wind in his hair,
But we never saw his darkness
    Nor deep despair.

    We heard his jokes and
    Enjoyed his warm deep laughter.
But we never heard the silence
    That lingered thereafter.

    Maybe if we’d really seen,
Maybe if we had really heard,
    Then maybe his tradegy,
    Would’ve never occurred...

    Maybe

    sista joyce.

this peace reminded me of my father & his
silent strength... it also spoke to me about
how we so many times take loved ones for
    granted... oftentimes thinking they're immune
to the pain & despair of the world... simply
because they always make us feel safe&loved.

thank you for sharing your words... your ink
    is NEVA wasted sister-dear! :)

    itsallLove, chile.
