author, poet, actress, and champion of equality Maya Angelou is set to be honored by the U.S. Postal Service with her own Forever Stamp. Angelou, who passed away last May at the age of 86, was a phenomenal woman who touched the lives of many around the world. “She celebrated black women’s beauty like no one had ever dared before,” First Lady Michelle Obama once said.

Details about the stamp—including a preview, as well as the date and location of the first-day-of-issuance ceremony—will be announced at a later date.
