Who would have thought that I would be in a position like this
Stuck in a place I don’t want to be and yet can’t get away from.
Knowing that time is the key. It heals all wounds and teaches lessons
    Yeah time is the answer.
And now I notice how time and maturity is all I was needing
    Not only internally but externally
I need to be exposed to what time and years have given
The stripes that have been earned by the hearts that has
    Been opened burned exposed.
Yeah it was all I was missing and now that I am sitting
At the lap of the teacher a open vessel ready to receive to learn to be
Guided it makes me feel stronger taller and almost ready to break
Loose the chains that hold me bind me lock me in that place that
I need to get away from yet too scared to let go of.
With each experience with maturity I step one foot farther away
And I stretch my hand heart and mind in the direction of the one
Whose maturity is my key to release
