It seems that many parts of the South still don't accept IR dating when it comes to their White woman, something people on the West coast especially aren't used to seeing today. Actually IR marriage wasn't even officially legal in the U.S. until 1967, which wasn't very long ago, and many of us were alive during that time.

What is that again on the West Coast? IR dating is rampant out here.

I think you misunderstood me. That's exactly what I'm trying to say. To rephrase it, people on the West coast don't see IR dating the same way as many Whites in the deep parts of the South do. Many parts of the South still have a problem with their White women dating Black men.
