As explained in the biblical text "Manna" is thought to be some sort of mystical bread that miraculously fell from the sky.

Manna (noun) - the food miraculously supplied to the Israelites in the wilderness. Ex. 16:14–36. --
    http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/manna

Manna is "actually" the fungi food known as mushrooms, There is no mystery nor miracle in this food group; except that it is a creation of GOD.

It is a known fact that some species of the mushroom contain a chemical that crosses the blood barrier of the brain to create a connected enhancement with GOD.

    :pool:
Simply stated: Manna "is" the mushroom--a drug, if you will---in some species which produces a euphoric state. The explanation of this euphoric state is interpreted as a closeness with GOD.

Could this be why cultures such as the Hindus and the Arabs and the Hi-Priests of Israel "still" wear a wrap around their heads similar to a mushroom and are known as mushroom heads?

"The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross: A Study of the Nature and Origins of Christianity within the Fertility Cults of the Ancient Near East" by John Marco Allegro.

Dr. Ray Hagins has also discussed this topic; therefore when I first viewed the clip I knew mushrooms would be the topic.

    Manna

Manna from heaven ( Exodus 16 ; 15 ) what was Manna ? Was it a sandwich ? Was it a chicken sandwich ? Was it Corn on The Cob , Spinach or Rice , Which people usully eat ? Was it the proper amount of Nourishment that human body needs ? Was it a Well - Balanced Meal ? Did it meet what we are calling today , The U.S.D.A. recommended daily allowance . Your next question should be , What Is Manna ? Well , It is a kind of Mildew , Bacteria , Or Fungs like a Mushtoom . Manna in The Aramic ( Hebrew ) Language is callws Mawn .. Meaning '' What Is This ? '' This is because The Israelites had no idea of what it was that was falling from The Sky with the morning dew until Moses explained to them that what they were seeing was The '' Bread '' Given to them by God in Exodus 16 ; 15 .

    Exodus 16 ; 15 ( Modern Hebrew Script ) , And I Quote ; And When The Bane ( Children ) of Yis - Raw - Ale ( Israel ) Raw - Aw ( Saw ) It . They Aw - Mar ( Said ) From A Eesh ( Male Living Being ) To Awkh ( A Brother ) . It Is Mawn ( Manna ) ; For They Do Not Yaw - Dah ( Know ) Maw ( What ) It Was , And Mo - Sheh ( Moses ) Aw - Mat ( Said ) Unto Them Hoo ( This ) Is The Lekh'-Em ( Bread ) Ash - Er ( Which ) Yahuwa Have Naw - Than ( Given ) You To Ok - Law ( Eat ) .
And When The Children Of Israel , Jacob's Sons And Daughters , Saw It , They Said From One Male Living Being To His Brother , It Is Manna , Which Is Mushroom ; For They Don't Know What It Was , And Moses Said To Them , This Is The Bread Which Yahuwa Has Given You To Eat
< Right Translation In Aramic ( Hebrew ) By Nayys ; Malachizodok York - El >

    ( Mistranslation For King James 1611 A.D. )
And When The Children Of Israel Saw It . They Said One To Another , It Is Manna ; For They Wist Not What It Was , And Moses Said Unto Them . This Is The Bread Which The Lord Hath Given You To Eat .

In this quote , Manna is referred to as Bread . The word used for Bread in this quote is Lekhem < aramic > Meaning '' Bread , Food , Grain . '' Now . This same word , Lekhem < aramic > Is used in Genesis 18 ; 5 , When Abraham fetched a '' Morsel of Bread '' For his visitors .

    Genesis 18 ; 5 ( Modern Hebrew Script ) And I Quote ; And I Will Law - Qakh ( Bring ) A Fath
    ( Piece ) Of Lekh'-Em ( Bread ) , And Saw - Ad ( Strengthen ) You Your Labe ( Hearts ) ; Akh -Ar ( After ) That You Will Aw - Bar ( Go On ) ; For Al ( Because ) You Have Aw -Bar ( Come ) To Your Eh' Bed ( Servant ) , And They Daw - Bar ( Said ) Kane ( So ) Aw - Saw ( Do ) , As You Have Daw - Bar ( Said ) .
And Let Me Bring A Piece Of Bread , And Strengthen You Your Heart ; After That You Will Pass On ; Because You Have Come To Your Servant . And They Enosite Said , So Do As You Have Said < Right Translation In Aramic ( Hebrew ) By Nayys ; Malachizodok York - El >

    ( Mistranslation For King James 1611 A.D. )
''And I Will Fetch A Morsel Of Bread , And Comfort Yet Your Hearts ; After That Ye Shall Pass On ; For Therefore Are Ye Come To Your Servant . And They Said , So Do , As Thou Hast Said .

If you use the word Lekhem < aramic > for Bread in Exodus 16 ; 14 for Manna which is supposed to be some type of Miracle Food from God . And the same word is used for for Bread in Genesis 18 ; 5 When Abraham was giving his visitor some bread ( Lekhem < aramic > , Why is it such a big feal when it comes to the children of Israel , When I can find 7 other quotes in The Bible that use the same word such as , Genesis 21 ; 14 , Genesis 25 ; 34 , Genesis 27 , 17 , Genesis 28 ; 20 , Deuteronomy 8 ; 9 , Psalm 105 ; 40 And Ruth 2 ; 14 . It was nothing Miraculous about The Bread in these quotes so why is it , Mystical in Exodus 16 ; 14 ? If this was special Bread from Heaven . According to Christian Belief , Then shouldn't there have been another name or meaning . Exodus 16 ; 14 Is a contradiction in itself because Manna is referred to as Bread When in actuality , It Isn't .

    Manna ( ParTwo )

    Manna is mentioned in The New Testament on five different accounts . On three accounts , it's referred to as just Man'nah < greek > Which was derived from The Aramic ( Hebrew ) Mawn Meaning '' What Is It '' , Hebrew 9; 4 , Revelation 2 ; 17 And John 6 ; 49 , And on 2 other accounts , It is referred to as Bread in John 6 ; 31 , 49 - 50 , 58 .

    John 6 ; 31 , 58 ( Modern Greek Script ) And I Quote ; Hay - Mone ( Our ) Pat - Ayr ( Fathers ) Did *** -O ( Eat ) Man - Nah ( Manna ) En ( In ) The Er ' - Ay - Mos ( Desert ) Kath -Oce ( According As ) Es - Tee ( It Is ) Graf '-O ( Written ) . He Did '- O - Mee ( Gave ) Ow - Tos ( Them ) Ar - Tos ( Bread ) Ek ( From ) Oo - Ran - Os ( Orion Skies ) To *** '-O ( Eat ) . Verse 58 . Hoo - Tis ( This ) Es - Tee ( Is ) That Ar ' - Tos ( Bread ) Ho ( Which ) Kat - Ab - Ah '- Ee -No ( Came Down ) , Ek ( From ) Oo - Ran - Os ( Orion Skies ) ; Ou ( Not ) Kath -Oce ( According As ) Hoo - Mone ' ( Your ) Pat - Ayr ( Fathers ) Did *** '-O ( Eats ) Man'Nah ( Manna ) , Kahee ( And ) Ap - Oth - Nace '-Ko ( Are Dead ) ; He That Tro'Go ( Eats ) Of Too'- Ton ( This ) Ar'- Tos ( Bread ) Shall Dzak'-O ( Live ) Ice ( Into ) Ahee - Ohn ( For Ever ) .
Our Fathers Did Eat Manna In The Desert ; According As It Is Written , He Gave Them Bread From Orion Skies To Eat . Verse 58 , This Is That Bread Which Came Down From The Orion Skies ; Not According As Your Fathers Did Eat Mannah , And Are Dead ; He That Eats Of This Bread Shall Live Into Forever ( Will Have Everlasting Life ) . < Right Translation In Aramic ( Hebrew ) By Nayys ; Malachizodok York - El >

    ( Mistranslation For King James 1611 A.D. )
Our Fathers Did Eat Manna In The Desert ; As It Is Written He Gave Them Bread From Heaven To Eat . Verse 58 . This Is That Bread Which Came Down From Heaven ; Not As Your Fathers Did Eat Manna , And Are Dead ; He That Eateth Of This Bread Shall Live Forever .

The Greek word being used in these quotes for Bread is Artos < greek > Meaning '' Bread , Loaf '' , Which is the same word being used in various quotes throughout The New Testament ( Matthew 4 ; 4 , 6 ; 11 , 7 ; 9 ) Just to name a few for regular Bread , Nothing Mystical or special . You mean to tell me God does not know the difference between Manna and Bread . His own creations .

According to Exodus 16 ; 31 , Manna was likened unto a Coriander Seed .

    Exodus 16 ; 31 ( Modern Hebrews Script ) And I Quote ; And The Bah '- Yeeth ( House ) Of Yis - Raw - Ale ( Israel ) Qaw - Raw ( Called ) The Shame ( Name ) Thereof Mawn ( Manna ) ; And It Was Like Gad ( Coriander ) Zeh'-Rah ( Seed ) . Law - Bawn ( Wite ) ; And The Tah'-Am ( Taste ) Of It Was Like Tsaf - Fee - Kheeth ( Flat Thin Cake , Wafers ) Made With Deb - Ash ( Honey )
And The House Of Israel , Jacob's Sons , Called The Name Thereof Manna And It Was Like Coriander Seed White And The Taste Of It Was Like Wafers Made With Honey . < Right Translation In Aramic ( Hebrew ) By Nayys ; Malachizodok York - El >

    ( Mistranslation For King James 1611 A.D. )
And The House Of Israel Called The Name Thereof Manna ; ( And It Was Like Coriander Seed ) . White ; And The Taste Of It Was Like Wafers Made With Honey , ''

    Notice that it say '' Like '' The Coriander Seed . According to The American Heritage Dictionary , Like Means ;

Like ' 1 . Possessing the characteristics of ; Resembling closely ; Similar to .
The Hebrew word in that quote , Is Gad < aramic > And the word for seed that is used is Zerah < aramic > Meaning '' Offspring '' .

    Manna ( ParThree )

Now according To The American Heritage Dictionary '' Coriander '' Is
Co 'Ri'An-Der 1 . An aromatic annual eurasian Herb ( Coriandrum Sativum ) In the parsley family , Having parsley like leaves and umbels of tiny white to pinkish flowers . It is cultivated for its edible fruits , Leafy shoots . and roots 2 . The fresh . Young . Leafy plantles of this herb , Used in salads and various dishes as a flavoring and garnish . Also called chinese parsley , Cilantro . 3 . The seedlike fruit of this plant , Used whole or ground as a flavoring for food and as a seasoning , As in curry powder .

Note that Coriander does not resemble Bread in any form or fashion . Bread is made from Flour which is from wheat . The Coriander is an Herb . They are from two totally different source . Manna is deseribed in the book '' Aid To Bible Understanding '' , By the Watchower Society known as The Jehovah's Witnesses , As '' A White Like Coriander Seed and had the look of Bdellium Gum , A waxlike and transparent substance having a form that resembles pearl ''.

Wouldn't The God , Who created the human body , Know that Manna doesn't have all of the necessary Vitamins and Minerals needed to Function Properly ? Especially since they were doing a lot of walking ? The Human Body Requires At Least 2,000 Calories Daily . Monerals Are necessary to maintain the compostion of the digestive juices and the fluids that are found in and around the body cells . Vitamins are also essential for good health and stability . The Human Body Cannot Manufacture Vitamins , And Has To Depend On Food To Supply Them , From All Seven Food Groups , Not Just Manna .

    Manna ( Part -Four )

The First of the seven food groups consist of Meat , Poultry , Fish , Eggs , Dried Beans , Peas , And Nuts . < Manna dorsn't fit in this category >

The Second food groups consist of Leafy , Green , And Yellow Vegetables . < Manna fits into this category of vegetation >

The Third food groups consist of Citrus fruits , Raw cabbage , salad green , and tomatoes < Manna dorsn't fit in this category >

The Fourth food groups consist of Potatoes , And other vegetables and non - citrus fruits . < Manna dorsn't fit in this category >

The Fifth food groups consist of Bread , Breakfast Cereals , And Flour . < Manna dorsn't fit in this category >

The Sixth food groups consist of Butter And Fortified Margarine . Manna dorsn't fit in this category >

And The Seven food groups consist of Milk And Milk Products . < Manna dorsn't fit in this category >

Cereal Grains provide about 70% of the food energy consumed by humans . And Manna Definitely Doesn't Fall In This Category . Basically , Humans obtain most of their food energy from carbohydrates ; Smaller amounts come from Fat ( About 20 % ) and protein ( About 15 % ) . Which mainly comes from meat and fish . Manna Does Not Fall In That Category Either .

After 40 years of eating Manna ( Exodus 16 ; 35 ) . All of Israel should have had mineral and Vitamin deficiences . Quail was also a part of their diet ( Exodus 16 ; 13 , Number 11 ; 31 ) . The Aramic ( Hebrew ) word used for Quail is Selaww < aramic > Meaning '' Quail '' And appears 4 times in The Old Testament and 3 times in The Koran 2 ; 57 , 7 ; 160 , And 20 ; 80 . Quail is not found in The New Testament , And in all three instance , The Koran states Wa - Anzilnaa - Alaykum - El Manna - Wa - El Salwa or Alayhum - El Manna - Wa . And translates '' And We Sent Down On You All Or Them The Manna And The Quail , ''

    Manna ( Part -Five )

As you can tell the implication here is that The Manna and The Quail came down from Heaven , Incorrect . An error on the part of those who copied these verse from The Book of Exodus in The Torah and even went as far as creating the word Al Manna < arabic > spelling it Phonetically , That is based on the sound of The Torah and then in The Commentary On 71 , Page 31 of The Abdullah Yusuf Ali Translation It says Manna = Hebrew , Man - Hu Arabic Ma - Huwa ? = What Is It ? '' That would read in Arabic Maa - Huwa < arabic > What Is It , In Proper Arabic is never said Maa - Huwa Its said Maa - Hatha < arabic > Translating '' What Is This ? ''

The Circumstances surrounding The Quail is complicated . Therefore I am going to deal with the facts concerning this bird .

A . The Quail belongs to two division of the pheasant family ; The phasianide , The new world Quail and the odontoporinae , The old world Quail .
B , The Quail originated in far eastern Asia that is China and Japan not Jerusalem .
C . They are mainly located in desert and bushy areas .
D . There are different kinds of Quail . The Coturnix specie of them fly .
E . The Quail only flies at least a foot from the ground . This means that The Quail flies no higher than the height of an average 1 - 5 Year Old Child which means that anybody who is 3 Feet or over can capture one of them .
F . The Cortunix ( Quail ) migrates in the spring from within Africa and arrives in Egypt around March or April .
G . The Quail cannot fly against the wind . If it does , It becomes exhausted and falls to the ground many Quails never reach their destination .
H . The Bodies are heavy in relation to their wing strength thus . They are in a state of exhaustion by the time they do reach their destination .
I . People have been known to catch these birds by using a butterfly net .
J . They travel in large flocks so their migration is in stages and it is usually during the shadow hours ( Night ) .

    Manna ( Part -Six )

1 . Quail birds are not very Meaty .

You can find this information in any dictionary or encyclopedia . Now , Numbers 11 ; 31 .

Numbers 11 ; 31 ( Modern Hebrew Script ) And I Quote ; And There Went Forth A Wind From The Lord , And Brought Quails From The Sea , And Let Them Fall By The Camp , As It Were A Day's Journey On This Side , And As It Were A Day's Journey On The Other Side , Round About The Camp , And As It Were Two Cubits High Upon The Face Of The Earth < Mistranslation For King James 1611 A.D. >

Ornithologist , Scientists who study birds , Have proven this 2,000 year old quote is outdated . It is estimated by Bible Scholars , Who are basing their figures on Number 11 ; 21 And Number 11 ; 31 - 32 That Million of Quails would have been collected . Millions of Quails would have never made it to the wilderness of sin where The Children of Israel were Located . Take a look at this So - Called Miracle . God supposedly produces a substance that is non - earthly and called Manna . Then uses a birth that migrates all the way from within Africa , to Egypt , Arabia , and Palestine . First , The choice of bird was ridiculous . Why not use an indigenous bird of the wilderness of sin such as ; The Patridge , Tropical Cuckoo , Bustard , Sand Grouse or The Desert Lark ? or Make a Heavenly Bird to go along with the Heavenly Bread .

The Bible and The Koran is outdated and the Information that is inside . Doesn't match to modern times . No one ever expected The Bible to be Scrutinized and Dissected . And now that it has , People are Seeing that it is basically Ridiculous . The Children Of Israel couldv'e caught The Quails themselves and your God could have Saved His So - Called Miracle for another time . Simply , What was the purpose ? I Suggest That You Do Your Own Research And You Will Find That What Is Written In Your Bible Koran Are Not Deal With Facts .

However , Getting back to the point , When the children of Israel began to complain , To their God , The one who was begging them to Worship Him , He '' Smote '' Them with a great Plague .
( Number 11 ; 33 ) . Tell me , That the God of The Bible is a loving and Providing God . Couldn't God have just cut The Theatrics and give His Chosen People Food ? No . He'd rather starve The Israelites for days and then Dreop something on them like Mildew , So They would appreciate it as though it were Chicken Sandwich , And if you turn to Number 11 ; 1 - 11 , You will see where God Burned some of the children of Israel because they were complaining about the condition they were living in once while under his guidance . And in Verse 4 and 5 of this same chapter . The children of Israel got straight to the point and ask Yahweh , Why did you take us from a land where we were prospering and put us in wilderness with nothing to eat ?

An example of this today would be a child asking his mother , '' Why Would You Take Me Away From My Father ( Egypt ) , Who Is Providing For Me , So That I May Be With You Whose Living In A Dump ( The Wilderness ) Just So That , So That You Can Fulfill Your Own Selfish Wants And Try To Make Me Give You The Same Reverence That I Was Giving My Father Who Is Doing Something For Me ( God ) ? '' There Is No Point In Suffering . As A Real Parent . You Will Put Your Emotions Aside And Do Only What Is Best For The Child . If He Is Happy Where He Is And Free Of Danger , Wouldn't You Leave The Child Where He Is And Let Him Love You From A Distance ? Read It , It Is Right In Your Bible .

Number 11 ; 1 - 10 , And I Quote ; And When The People Complaned , It Displeased The Lord ; And The Lord ( Yahweh ) Heard It ; And His Anger Was Kindled ; And The Fire Of The Lord Burt Among Them , And Consumed Them That Were In The Uttermost Parts Of The Camp . And The People Cried Unto Moses ; And When Moses Prayed Unto The Lord , The Fire Was Quenched . And He Called The Name Of The Place Taberah ; Because The Fire Of The Lord Burnt Among Them . ( And The Mixed Multitude That Was Among Them Fell A Lusting ; And The Children Of Israel Also Wept Again , And Said , Who Shall Give Us Flesh To Eat ? We Remember The Fish , Which We Did Eat In Egypt Freely ; The Cucumbers And The Melons , And The Leeks And The Onions . And The Garlick ; But Now Our Soul Is Dried Away ; There Is Nothing At All , Beside This Manna , Before Our Eyes .

It "miraculously" fell from the sky because it was indeed a miracle, given of the Father to His people.:D

I wonder, why does every connection people say they have with the Father almost always just have to be a connection with some sort of drug? Can a person not have a clear head and have ingested absolutely nothing of the sort and still have visions, blessings, and miracles come their way? I guess to some, there's no way.

Nevertheless, to the believing and faithful, they'd know that bread of the Heaven exists, as even the Son had come as our Bread of the Heavens, and showed even greater things still, such as His healing of the sick, His great compassion, His feeding of the hungry, His sacrifice for our sins, His resurrecting the dead, His own resurrection, His Ascension, His prophecies, and His teaching of great faith, hope, and trust.
