I really like to know why do we degrade our sistas our women
with names not of honor but more a low blow when these are
the greatest gift to mankind a promising treasure of creation
for man yet we walk on them like ground what do you really feel
    about women !?
is it that we as men fogotten or true roots of being , where we
harvest from and all that was given to bring forth life if we hit
our Queenz, sistas, women like this and treat them as something
un real how do we see our own Mother whom birth us is she labled
    as such ????
ladies please reply too why in your mind bruthas low rate women
can it be our own foolishness from the man made files of stupidity
or insightful blind to what these women are and mean to man ???

maybe many can find the answer in my poetic flowz call
(Da confession of the womb) series in quiet flow
    poetry forum
I like tojust hear what many think and feel on this topic
i've notice many bruthas low rating and degrading sistas
from every corner in their minds i was around a few last week
killing the life of a woman worth and in my mind i wonder do
these guys see their Mother as such too !

it's a rude awakening we should never dismay the gift
    it's a real no no ! :nono:
they are the beauty of man and a creation of GOD to man
to honor & respect something i see most bruthas don't hold
and have , am i wrong here for seeing sistas , mothers, Queens
as Goddess and a real treasure to mankind or just luv struck blind
to the facts of just being whip??????

I don’t know the true reason being I am a woman.

But I would say it have a lot with the up bringing, the family background… along
with being hurt by a woman whom they may have loved dearly, I think the list can go on and on.

And also I think these men will always see all women as the same,
because of the hate they have inside and have not found a way to release the anger
until they release that pain and hurt inside they will always be blind to the gift a woman do bring and lost in the understanding/meaning of a woman.

But then it’s the same for women as well, they also man bash as men women bash…so when will it all end?

    thas my thoughts on this....

    Peace
    Angel

interesting concept and thoughts sista i may agree as well , yes
it's true we have a lot of women ripping a man down instead of
supporting him but the reflection in my mind is why !?
as it lingers we continue to bring each other down degrading and
shameful tales to hurt but men should know not to never low cut
a sista for this which we came from without female / woman it would
be no male / man inside da confession of a womb is the value of a
woman worth it express da reality and truth of a woman a serise to
check out but it still leave a void of why !

Hmmmm! I remember a time when I felt like all men was no good with a few exceptions to a few. But I had to sit down and channel where these feelings were comming from. What has caused me to be so downhearted when it came to my Brothers.

Past life experiences! From childhood to adult, I watched the women in my community laying the law. Raising the children while some men went to work to help support the family. When work was done the women catered to their needs of their husbands as well as the rest of the family. Hardly ever having time for themselves. I blamed the men for all the responsibilities that was tied to the women.

But then I had an awakening. I realized that the condition of the family was not one individuals fault. That history and slavery played an emense role in it. We was bred like farm animals. From mating, to feeding, to family values.
It's no wonder things turned out the way it is.

No respect for each other. Always pointing our fingers to blame one another for our pains. It is truly sad when we become so caught-up in the wrongs of one another that we are blind to the need to make things right.

We need so much to nurse each other in a respectful way. To grow and shed that old skin that has torn us down for centuries, but we can't seem to get past all the pain. We are selfish!!!!! We need to feel important and yet we beat down the very source that can bring us to a place inside ourselves that will uplifts us. We kill each other with or words!!!!!
    Men and women alike!!!!

Not all of us do this!!!! But most of us need to channel where it's comming from, and rebuild our way of thinking so we can rebuild a nation of Black, Strong, Beautiful people who are not ashamed of who the are!!!!!!

And thats my fiffty cents! Will you meet me half way with your fiffty cents?

    Lets rebuild!!!!!!

Good question Rich. Like blkangel already said, some men have been hurt, some are around other men who downgrade women. Some men seem to think it's a cool thing to do, some act like they don't really like women, that we are just something to fulfill their needs. And some women do bash men also, probably for the same reasons. I don't know how or when this will end. Guess we have to all start with ourselves, and honestly delve into our own minds as to the whys of this behavior.

You always hurt the one you love.

It seems that we, as a people in america, have internalized our anger. Think of it like this.. when you were a kid, and you had a problem with those pesky fractions,, what did you do? You throw the math book like it had done something to you..... In essence, that is what our brothers have done to us, and we have done to them. When confronted with failure, real or perceived, we lash out at the closet thing to us. My ex felt like less of a man because we at times ahd to ask for help keeping the rent paid and food in the fridge. In turn, he took it out on me, as I symbolized everything that was wrong in his life. Everytime he had to loo at me and tell me that we were short on the rent, he saw his failure to provide for his family staring back in his face....

Another thing may be that women, namely Black women, have learned ot carry the load by ourselves. Because of that, we sometimes are guilty of not "needing" a man to do anything for us. Unfortunatelt, a lot of us have SONS who are watching us for cues on how women act and how they should act towards us.

And fella, I feel that most of all, if not all of you, are good men.. Some of you just may not have had the proper avenues to express yourselves. If you are angry, which you are, turn it around. Internalizng messages of hatred have never solved anything.

you all have spoken with sound advice and great reasons but by all means
bruthas do speak up after all we have been guilty of these acts on our sistas

I learn long ago watching my parents and how they live with great respect
my father the man who not only work but did house things cooking cleaning
and washing too as well i watch and learn from my mother the worth of a
Queen a mother and how we as men should treat our sistas surely as this
woman give birth to a child for you to have and hold surely you should honor
her but most of all respect her .
I know we lost way in the cross motion of depression and slavery yet even
these men treasure the women just had no control to how they lay and with
whom which be so massa we have carried it into our today living both male
and female has lost a great deal of respect but i must agree all y'all above
has spoken truth and given light on why this seem to be a pitfall upon our
nation or creed as black people true we must really start within our self
fix it and redirect the myth of it and come to pass to love thy sista and
thy brutha support him love him as well same to our bruthas dis re spect
is really self destructional to our self what have we become ???

A brotha who has been caused pain by a woman; will have a tendency to cause pain to a woman. These are also men who were born to a father or father figure who did stuff like this in the home to a Mother or mother figure. They are CHOOSING TO reciprocate this same hurt to "us". They are brothas who need healing! Not so much as sexual or spiritual but a whopping dose of that Love that someone failed to reciprocate to them. ( some time ago) See, when a sista brings love? she brings healing too. But they don't want none of that...they'd rather flee from the arms of a sista and run behind the wall of calling us....hoes.....witches with a "b" and all this other stuff.
