    This morning brotha oldsoul talked about Malcolm X to commemorate his recent 88th birthday. Well, da river got to thinking. What do you mean uh oh? Actually I've thought of two challenges that will get y'all to thinking and spark some interesting conversation Since they are kinda different, I will put each in it's own thread.

    Challenge 2

    What would Louis Farrakhan have had to say about Malcolm X if he had lived and carried out the goals he had had when they killed him? Mention specific goals that Malcolm expressed and how they connect or conflict with what Farrakhan has done and said.

    No biggie;
    Malcolm's plea was simply a grander actually broader propsect of Black businesses in the community, that Eiljah Muahmmad had all over NYC in the 60s and 70s, on the other hand Farakhan is a good sppechmaker, yet has not shown or improved in the area of Black businesses that serve the community.

    Peace

    Good question.

    Everything Malcolm said and wanted to do on the overt is directly aligned with everything Farrakhan does covertly. After all Malcolm was Farrakhans (teacher) and Elijah was Farrakhans leader.

    If he had lived to carry out the program of MMI and the OAAU most of you outside the nation would not even know who Louis Farrakhan is.

    Farrakhan has had much to say but what has he done that leaves a lasting impact on improving the quality of our lives?

    I can't imagine what he could do to improve the quality of my life. That is my responsibility, not his. He speaks. I listen. Then I take what he says and apply it to my situation.

    Although its very difficult, without being a Muslim, to find talks of Farrakhan that entail your specific question; this is the best I could find which shows alignment between the two men:
