Peace and Blessings Family,
It seems that the Black leaders from majority Black cities / communities, often find themselves with legal woes. I think back to former Mayor of DC, Marion Barry, former Mayor of Detroit, Kwame Kilpatrick, and now the former Superintendent of Atlanta's Public School District, Beverly Hall ... all facing or have faced the character diminishing act of defending themselves against charges of impropriety.
I'm sure there are more Black city leaders that have faced this same end. Please name them if you know of them.
Is it coincidence, conspiracy, or cointelpro?
Could it be that we are more sensitive (aware) when it happens to our own, and the same is happening among other races / cities / populations?
Is it that there are fewer of us in these leadership roles, so we stand out more?
What do you think it is?
Thanks in advance.
Love You!
