Kicking it down at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta this weekend
The Bishop and I had the honor of judging a private poetry slam.
I feel honored to say that Atlanta has some of the most gifted and blessed poets we’ve seen in a long time.

    Keep that flow coming.......

Next stop this weekend we hit Orlando for a week, and then we hit St. Louis in July.

    Question

Have you heard of this brotha named Aquil? He lives in Atlanta but is originally from Buffalo. (represent!!!)lol
He has a CD that is crazy tight!!! When I get his last name and the name of the cd, I'll send it to you. He's supposed to read here in Buffalo on the 24th of this month at this spot called the Em-Tea Coffee Cup which is a black owned coffee house that holds open-mikes and poetry slams weekly and monthly. There's also a black owned poetry and urban/cultural arts magazine here called Njozi. Buffalo's trying to do a little sumthin' sumthin but we still have a ways to go.
