our communication
is read between the lines
we sit in open spaces
cafe places
we see the people that pass us by
always the women catch your eye
they see what i see
that you're always looking for more

they smile at you
the same way that i do
thrilled to have your attention
they would settle for an honorable mention

we get along and we harmonize
over the various tastes
the delicious spices always set before us
different meals for different moods

what do you have a taste for
baby i always have a taste for you
i could have you on my menu every day
sitting in public places

your smiles mixed with my
honey mustard sauce
make the whole meal taste better
make the juices taste wetter

eating in private spaces
whether it's a dark mahogany booth
or a well lit marble table
i could always eat with you
