#1LSU Tigers at #2Alabama Crimson Tide

Alabama is favored by 4.5 points
TeamRankings win odds for LSU: 36 percent

LSU is an outstanding, well-coached team with a top-flight defense and a powerful running game. Unfortunately for the Tigers, this game doesn't really have much to do with them. Alabama is a championship team on a championship mission, and LSU is simply in the way.

We've been beating this drum all year, but Alabama's defense is absolutely not "one of" the best in the country. It is not simply the nation's best in 2011, but rather a once-in-a-generation defense. That's not hyperbole. It's also what we should expect given the Crimson Tide's perfect set of circumstances. The sport's top defensive coaching staff in terms of both scheme and technique is, in its fifth year, at the very pinnacle of its recruiting and player development machine.
I'm picking Alabama to surprise LSU and creep by them by a foot.....3

Better defense: LSU or Alabama? debating the strength
while on paper LSU is said to hold the edge and have some great
D players who are pro bound and extremely tough in the secondary
Alabama has plenty of experienced defenders as well is why this will
end up like an upset .
winning this game they will go all the way to the BCS title

I agree but only by a foot goal of 3 this will be one to watch and remember

This Game Will Be Very, Very Close

    [IMG](1) LSU 9 (9-0, 6-0 SEC)

    [IMG](2) Alabama 6 (8-1, 5-1 SEC)

I knew it would be close and i was looking for the shocker upset which BAMA mainly
beat themselves missing 3 fieldgoals and one blocked that lead to an overtime win
for LSU to stay undefeated by a foot in a great game what's next for them both !?

Just For Kicks a foot to victory!

Appropriately enough, LSU-Alabama ended with special teams deciding it as the Tigers won it in OT
