Why hasn’t love found me?
I’m not that hard to find you see.
Is it just a fluke or stroke of bad luck?
That love has not given me a single look.
‘Just be patient it will come’, I’ve been told.
But how long can I wait for love to knock at my door.
Could it be since I’ve moved a few times,
Love thought I’ve changed that address of mine.
But my heart’s still here empty as ever,
Waiting for my first love endeavor.
Maybe this is just some cosmic joke or test.
Could it be love thinks I wont give it my best,
Maybe love thinks I’ll fail you see
When love finally comes to visit me.
Whatever the case, I’m tired of the wait
I’m beginning to think that this is my fate.
That I am destined to be, loveless you see.
Not ever feeling loves pleasure or pain,
Not ever feeling loves guilt or shame.
