A Supervisor at the Sheriff's Department
i kissed you tenderly
i listened for my name
i looked into your eyes
i'm in love, do you feel the same?

i caressed your fingers
i massaged your back
i rubbed your pain away
just touching you baby, ain't enough

the way you walk in the room
the smell of your cologne
the way you look at me
looking at you, looking at me

touch me gently
blessing our love
giving me sweet dreams
lessons learned in love

the makings of a relationship
once torn to shreds
gathered by memories
mostly in my head

i want you more than i did back then
i hear you calling my name, from within
being gentle and loving while i heal
understanding the way i feel

hoping one day we'll share one name
leaving behind all past pains
taking our love past hater zone
waiting again to hear you moan ...

Part II soon to follow ....
