And Tommy Tonka’s transformers
And I wanted was your heart
I had Malibu Barbie
And winne the pooh this and
Mickey and Minnie new my first name
But could you possibly know
That all I wanted was for you to have teatime with me
Sometime before you started dinner
In between the yelling @ Big P
And after you ate
I wanted you to be my friend
We relocated to seclusion for you serendipity

Enthusiastically I jumped in the front seat and we began our journey
When we left you were
My foreign friend
Five and half-hours later I knew you
We were forever bonded
Something was missing from my Cinderella story
Felt like gumbo soup with
With out the rue?
Or the Collards with out the greens
Who would have known it was love.
By the time we unpacked 13 years flew by and we had seen
Courtroom after courtroom
And Judge after judge
Psychotherapy was worse than physical therapy
And there still was no love
Some kids want monopoly, life and shoots and ladders
All I wanted
Was a small amount of your time?
