    louisiana burning
racism and injustice can no longer be hidden in small judicial pockets
    and prosecutorial lawlessness....
but we united for this cause and became
    rebels without a pause...

before the wheels began turning backwards louisiana will be burning... faster with all night fury
remember the scottsboro boys from alabama...
they were in the process of being legally lynched by an all- white jury
and that was back in the 30's when they were
accused of raping two white women :puke2:
if you were to research the unfair trials of the south and the north
the east and the west you would see
    no due process...
    no proper, legal procedures
:time: the clock winds to '07 to Jena and six boys get none either???
how the old white supremacists would love to turn back the hands of time
into the blurry channels of black and white tv
away from the granddaughters and sons replaying one of our cd's
and away from the educational magnitiude of our hbc's...
    i'm hurt... i'm dissappointed
at the churches whose pastors demand consistent tithes and attendance
    but when asked to act
on righteous vengeance, he and his congregants kept within their walls...
    grow some balls...
what if Jena was your town.. or is it already??
keep your pace to act steady
for if Jena 6 could've been 7 if it included your own...
and then that's when God himself would have to come off his throne
b/c if it were mine in that number....
my wrath would sleep nor slumber...

Teach poet, teach. Make it plain how history echoes. I felt your words, poet.

    man poet

love how you laid this here

    yes we need justice

turning back the hand of time should not be allowed

especially when trying to take us back to where

    we don't want to return

    peace

    poet

hopefully this can play out in our favor
