They say time will heal a heart from pain, which has been shattered.
Is that true? If so….How do you find the lost pieces?

Picking up some pieces but the rest is lost
Unseen to the eye...pain cuts deep...making you blind
A cut image of the truth in a broken mirror
    That bleeds

Some may not understand the situation
But begin to assume…it was a lie

Did the love fade over night?
Is it true, life in itself is just a game?
Should I play this cruel game?

The tears run like a river and shame wipes through the soul
    As the spirit turns bitter…

    So many unanswered questions
What was real what was fake?

Do you hold on to hope or believe?
It is real…for the love that was shared
Or do you try to forget
    With no regrets...
From a trust, that was bond
    A love that grew unseen
    Some may never understand
    Don’t matter the time spent
    The love was shared
    How do you heal?
    A broken heart that trusted?

    See....
They say time will heal a heart from pain, which has been shattered.
Is that true? If so….How do you find the lost pieces?

    Mz BlkAngel...

    Deep...very deep. Good insightful questions.

Love is good...when it's good. But, when it's gone...it's gone and you have to accept that.

:thanks: for sharing your thoughts on such a very important experience that we ALL go through.

I find that you cant pick up pieces of your heart. However you can heal the pieces that have been cut out from it. Love can heal our hearts from the memories of the pieces that were torn out over the years.

    Thank you for sharing.

    Here's a small tip...
A shattered heart is like a shattered glass, ...what do you do with the glass once shattered and broken?
Well, let's find all the pieces to that broken glass, glue it back together, but...will you trust drinking from that glass?

    *mental note*
In searching for shattered pieces, the piece you can't find, will come back to cut you.
