Black Poetry : Long Time Away

I managed to disapear fror awhile and I never really
Noticed how much i missed what I hadn't been close to for a while
It would seem like I was lost the entire time
But I was just away for a while
I lost a dear friend and instead of reaching out to the ones who loved me the most I hid
I ran to some far corner deep within me and sat there until
I felt like tears could not console anymore
I spnt a long time away and now I regret everyday I was gone
And everything I lost while I was there
I have returned and now
I am allive living because she no longer lives
I dedicate my success to her because she is my inspiration



For you ,I saw you Friday and all we were about was getting to success together. On Monday I woke up and you were dead taken from me as if we were never friends. Always Know that I miss you and you meant the world to me because you were golden.

I'm feelin you on all levels, I just lost my best friend a few months ago. The cold numbness does go away, nice drop.
