My life began when I was born
to end when I should die
    but it ended long before
    when you said goodbye
you told me I was to far gone
    you couldn't be my girl
you didn't know those simple words
    could destroy my entire world
I knew that I should let it out
    go somewhere and cry
    that would never be enough
    I wanted to die
    but I couldn't kill myself
    I won't be considered weak
    I'm in a state that isn't death
    yet life's begun to leak
I wanted to live until i die
I wanted to see the end
that day dream was soon destroyed
when you said lets just be friends
My life is over yet death hasn't come
I've no tears left to cry
you ruined my hopes of ever
    living long enough to die

ahhh...the bittersweet pain of loving/being in love with one who no longer loves you...

one of the deepest forms of pain the heart can feel...

    great piece...
