Making bricks out of powder, but not building a house.
Sugar coated Dreams I see u you turning your a.. out
But Honey tell me where has that really gotten you
Besides laying on your back with empty pockets
You got to start building with something substantial
A foundation of knowledge upon which to stand
For when you are standing firmly upon nothing
You will definitely fall for absolutely anything
The future lies before us as blank impatient canvas
Whereon we may paint life with any brushstrokes
But I beg of us take caution with our careless hand
Before we make an imprint that shall forever stand,
Find a cause to die for and then live it to the fullest
Give it everything within you while you are able
So at the end you could look back with no regrets
Knowing that you have done you absolute best​
