    If you could listen to my mind
    would you find the dimensions
    of thought dancing with emotions,
    erasing confusion, mixed in delusions
    of candy coated dreams mingling
    with lost hopes and aspirations?

    Or maybe you may find what
    keeps me ticking through this realm
    of “looking suspect” when dialect
    seeps through my vernacular and
    my perception is perceived destruction
    dripping from my freshly twisted loc’s;

    Can’t see my intellect or strength
    if you don’t listen with open minds
    or walking blind through the wooded
    way of acceptance…too many broken
    bridges to find a solution when in truth
    an apology will build more than was lost;

    Where did it assumption begin to rear its’ ugly head?
    Was it before my conception or
    my inception into the white collar
    world that only needs me for my
    “work (like a slave) ethic” as it
    attempts to fill the ethnic quota;

    Never down, never out and I will never
    remove never from my language for never
    comes the never ending truth of never
    getting the job, never being successful,
    never being rich, never finding happiness
    and never being more than a statistic and
    as long as I never change my mindset than
    I can never change and never live up to these
    never positive veil of destruction over my life;

    Never let’em see you sweat;

    But you see today my thoughts are
    ever changing, ever growing, ever
    knowing, ever positive, ever expanding
    the gaps between N and ever so that
    the two will forever be left to live in divorce;

    No marriage of negatives will occur here;

    So if you listen to my mind would you find the
    beauty of truth hidden behind the depth of my stare?

    end of pt.1 (to be continued)

    EVER

    listening
    appreciating
    discovering
    learning
    loving your existance. I've been touched in so many ways by your words and I love the positive that you send be it in mass morning e-mails which I absolutely appreciate because you seem to know exactly what sita needs other than coffee. Continue to venture out from the meadow and bring that freshness of spring sir...

    God bless

    masterpiece...

    of affirmation...

    the third stanza ending strong...
    "an apology will build more than was lost"
    just that simple...? or, is it...

    i went back over this peace
    as the spirit moved swiftly
    through your word...

    positive flow~
