Black People : List if you can those few things first that will bring you some relief immediately

In order to gain some peace in this existence. Individuals have to be satisfied with basic needs met.

Having those met, an individual can then, having some peace of mind. Begin to look around and see that other things within their scope of influence can be adjusted, corrected and worked on by them.

This goes as deep as the Unification African Americans speak about many times.

Being that individual satisfaction is linked to overall satisfaction of everything around an individual. Including what is within their line of sight and hearing.

What do you as an individual need ( NOW…today , this minute ) to reach a Plateau where there is more happiness, in your life. More clarity, and some focus on the other issues that need attention, that was not in clear view. Clouded by the noise of incoming everyday overwhelming fodder.

List if you can those few things first that will bring you some relief immediately that is not presently in or a part of your everyday life. Wasn’t there yesterday or years before?​

For me:

· A job that is satisfying. Pay is commensurate of skill and for the position.

One where the crazy politics of the office does not exist and the manufacturing floor it doesn’t exist. I know this nirvana it exists. I have experienced this, in a few places of employment. Support is there and management wasn’t ruled by and driven by fear.

· Having the funds to get my dream of a business of my own, where I can buy the inventory to change it all and try something new. Currently I have my license; it is operating capitol that is an issue. This would give me breaks; I could spend time working the tax system to my advantage. Driving my business car that is deductible, entertaining associates and potential customers, gifting them all for they all are potential customers. This would give me tax relief. From there I am working the system, American dream. Making it work, for me and mine. Massaging the system before it scratches me.

What I want to add too is this. All the talk of that day, and talk of the dream. Blacks being finally unified and us coming out of the monster grip of poverty. Have to view from the perspective of what is keeping that from happening. Some say it’s the man’s foot on our neck, some say it’s the political system, some say it is the police, some say it’s based on the fact that they will not and won’t be participating in this system.

To all of that Unity spoke about all the time. Here we are gathered. On DESTEE.

She has given us a platform to gain some unity. To work on and possibly solve a few issues. Work out some problems and talk out solutions. Do you feel the union?

Don’t ever BARK.. . and the thought if it enters anyone’s head here. I will never donate a dime, when it is free. Shame if it enters the mind. Thinking I will never give support here, to keep this platform here. That kind of portrayal doesn’t make it dissolve any time soon. But it doesn’t support it to ensure it remains.

UNITY!!!​

No… it is hasn’t been achieved yet here in a community of about 50,000 possible members at any given time. We haven't gotten our act to the stage yet.

So is unity a dream… it could be because we haven’t and cannot in a small group on this beautifully provided platform get along. Seem to maintain or formulate any UNITY.

No one issue or issues can or will lead to a new black movement...

Martin Luther King Jr. said, “True compassion is more than flinging a coin to a beggar. It is to see that an edifice which produces beggars needs restructuring.”

So if you want something, need something. That edifice that is keeping you from achieving that is what will bring you some relief immediately. That edifice needs to be your focus. That edifice needs restructuring.

Is the threads question. I see today so many unhappy people. For many reasons there is suffering on a personal level. Human longing is real.
Everyday we are exploited and clouded with advertising. The television, internet and those who need to keep us unfocused are doing it on a grand scale.

Unlike it was fifty years ago. What is this burden that clouds the vision? Only that individual responding knows what would produce a ray of hope for them.

Cloudy mind, cloudy vision, distracted by this set-up system from their happiness. We focus and seek positive focus by watching sports, chasing the next sensation. Black Men and Women want to be happy.

Temporary satisfaction, and then on to another. Keeping us from building a real relationship with our women.
Keeping or women from building a meaningful relationship with us.
Then the focus was clouded again.

No one issue or issues can or will lead to a new black movement..

We aren't ready yet for a movement. We are not focused on individual needs. Then group needs become clearer. Group think would work much better. When we can stop the mess-up, and derailment of our own opportunity, unity and future.
Don't cry to me. I am from poverty. They captured me in Pruitt Igoe, but my mind ran free.

Pruitt-Igoe residents. For example, resident families were torn apart because of a regulation that stipulated that only women who were raising children on their own were eligible for the subsidized housing.

That caused husbands and fathers to live apart from their families rather than prevent their wives and children from having a safe and decent place to live. During the day, children were left along in the apartments while their mothers went to work, and at night, the fathers would sneak into their families' apartments to visit or sleep.

The apartments were were closely monitored by authorities who were ready to evict people who didn't abide by the regulations.This sort of family disruption caused serious social stresses.
