I want to be free of these
Liquid words that flow over me and
Constantly move around me

To understand really and fully the
Implications behind the words that you
Say to me

Liquid words
Full of excuses
And lies
Full of time that you never have

Liquid words
Melt against my ears
Assault my heart with
Truths that they cant cover

I want to feel the truth and hold onto it.
Have some solid realism
To be seen as who I am, NOT
What you want me to be

Liquid words
Impossible to see, to catch
Full of feeling that you don’t have
Your eyes holding in them
An emptiness that I once filled

I know you, I know you
But you never knew me
that is one truth held in those ****
