From here...

I could hear
Your naked footprints
Splashing in puddles
On the ground

From here...

I could feel
The water
Trickling down
The folded paths
Of your skin

From here...

I could see
The lines of laughter
Disguised as ageing
To unseeing eyes

And I know...

That the Water Gods
Must be smiling

At you...
Celebrating your
Naked beginnings

And
Dry seasons
Ending

Dancing
Your liquid rhythms

Out there...

In the rain
