    All People (eg. Family, Friends and Foes) Come Into OUR Lives For:

    (i) a reason - (ii) a season - (iii) or a lifetime

    (i) When it is for a reason the time spent with this person and/or these people is usually of a very short duration and the driving force behind the contact is that we initially asked that a need be met the spoken word or by a mental thought process. The answer we receive will include: guidance, support, emotional-physical-mental aid >>> from this person and/or these people and then once the need is met this person and/or these people will just simply disappear ---since whatever it is that you requested is resolved.

    Know that it was you who generated the chain reaction that brought this person and/or people into your life --so be very careful about the content of what you speak and think when asking for a need; and know that the real work takes place at the level of our unconscious mind --that part that we can't see, hear, feel or touch. It's not superstition, sorcery or witchcraft. It is rather knowing that you alone have the ability to shape your own reality simply by what you think and say and how you react to what you think and say ---in order to bring the best outcome.

    The power to train and strengthen the forces within your mind remain within the realm of your own mercy will alone; so, be aware of this fact in order to bring about the best results. And it is always a good idea to be very clear about what is that you want --be specific rather than vague about the degree of your requested need.

    Know, also, that even when you ask for the same need in a different way you will "still" get the same results. In other words, don't keep asking for the same thing thinking that you will get different results --because you won't. This practice is a waste of time really.

    And then after all is said and done ---and without any forced ill-doing or wrong action on your part ---the person and/or these people will simply say or do something to end the relationship --just like that!

    (ii) When it is for a season the time span is a stretch longer and the contact is to add learning and growth (eg. note: this person and/or people will come to you freely sharing) to help fulfill the need that you originally requested --in order that your own emotional maturity may be further strengthened.

    This person and/or these people
    ---will definitely teach you something that you did not know
    ---will show you something that you have never done before
    ---will bring you peace, joy or laughter

    At some point, though, this person and/or these people will die or just simply disappear ---without forewarning or advance notice. Sometimes this person and/or these people will start acting badly towards you in a way that forces a reaction from you. Be prepared and heed the signal and know the warning sign, because whatever action you choose to take will either complete the need or the unresolved need will manifest again in a new person and/or new people who will come into your life with similar gifts, tools and tests ---so until the need is met. Ideally, it is best to get resolution the first time around >>>but know that history does repeat itself until you resolve it.

    (iii) When it is for a lifetime the emotional (eg. joys, sorrows, fears, hates, loves) lessons will last for the duration of your entire life span as you continually strengthen the emotional foundation within yourself --as a result of your contact with this person and/or these people. Their gifts, tools and tests will last you throughout your whole life...so brace yourself ...because what doesn't kill YOU will most definitely make YOU stronger, emotionally -- Eye know you knew this clique', yet it needed to be said.

    Throughout your life you will need this person and/or these people to continually help build, help fortify and help sustain the emotional foundation of your inner character as you traverse through life. And to be honest with you this person and/or people are really good people to have around you as you experience your ups and downs.

    So ---in summary, do accept and acknowledge the emotional lessons that YOU are taught whether for a reason, a season or a lifetime from this person and/or people. Love the person and/or people that come into your life to share and teach you for a reason, a season or a lifetime --since it was you who requested their help in the first, second or third place. The presence of this person and/or people will truly be an important asset throughout your life.

    Once YOU know exactly which category to place the person and/or these people who come into YOUR life you will then know precisely what it is that you need to do to meet your need. So have confidence and trust your inner self.

    And if by chance you only come across that person and/or people for a reason and a season and not for a lifetime ---just remember that 2 out of 3 isn't bad.

    Asante Sana

    This is how the original poem goes...

    Reason, Season, or Lifetime

    People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
    When you figure out which one it is,
    you will know what to do for each person.

    When someone is in your life for a REASON,
    it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
    They have come to assist you through a difficulty;
    to provide you with guidance and support;
    to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
    They may seem like a godsend, and they are.
    They are there for the reason you need them to be.

    Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
    this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
    Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
    Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
    What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.
    The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

    Some people come into your life for a SEASON,
    because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
    They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
    They may teach you something you have never done.
    They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
    Believe it. It is real. But only for a season.

    LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
    things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
    Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person,
    and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
    It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

    Hopefully one day we can apply thought and energy to truly optimize this reality.

    Peace to you Sista Fine

    There is great info information in this post.

    Once we realize all people are an extension of ourselves no matter how long we interact with them, reality becomes clearer.
