Everyday trying to forget
Each day it grows heavier in mind
My misery meets my loneliness
And their now strengths have been combined
Tribulations sprouting like wild plants
Feeling deeply entangled in the vines
I drew the straight path I hoped to go
Yet, life has taken me outside the lines
But, I’m learning life keeps on going
Like he’s walking hand in hand with time
Learning sometimes he feeds you sweet grapes
Sometimes he will feed you with sour limes
Learning the Lord may provide answers
If you keep faithfully praying for signs
Learning catching up can be very hard
If you have fallen too far behind

Yes, despite how daunting my struggle
The planet’s motions do not change pace
Despite how big some impacts may be
On the dreams I am trying to chase
I must keep actively seeking answers
For each of the challenges I face
Every moment I spend distressing
Becomes a minute spent in waste
All thoughts of anger and vengeance
Have to be removed or misplaced
Try to learn from these bad experiences
For they cannot be changed or erased
Try to keep my mind on positive things
Trusting in the Lord and his grace
Even when you lose some priceless things…
And they are impossible to replace
