for years
i cried tears
unjust treatment
my battle, my scars, my wounds
such a victim
in my self flagellation
libations
seeking justification
bound by vows
and facing the lie
yearning for my freedom
the freedom of this tyranny
subjection
each and every rejection
an open book...look
see the cross that i bear
do you even care...
listen to the pain that i share
stepping back
forget all that
look at things from the begining
being right
doesn't mean you're winning
just because you can win a case
things laced
contradiction...demonize
realize...it takes two to create
any disparagy...apathy...reality
so now i look
and i see you anew
sans issues and summons of trial and jury
but with value and things true
let's do this...me and you
and never let anything come
between the two
cause we are all flawed
prove me wrong please
but finally i put down my weapons
and admit to myself you're what i need
