    it’s a conundrum
but I am weary of fighting this battle
    I fight it every day
And I would like a stay (a reprieve)
I don’t want to deceive you

I don’t even look at another man
    For what maaan
So he can irritate me and potentially give me a disease
So that I can come back home and kill my family?
    You come inside her

    You come inside me
No sense of loyalty or family
Just getting your **** off I see
    No thanks, not me
I gave up that narcotic a while back
And when I gave it one last test drive
It was like a slap –

They say that the closer you get to God
The more you abhor your own past sins
Well slide that one right next to drinking gin
Because I’m tired of sinning, that’s played and lame

I don’t want to be old and rotten in a picture like dorian gray
    Beautiful on the outside
But a soul full of ****…paste on powder and mac makeup
A ring in my **** and a sin in my womb STD’s
    And wrath with doom

My own back yard is big enough
And you are the man for me
But do you know that I love you?
    Do you see?
I wish that I could reach through your armor
So that you can see me…and know that I love you
And I will always be there

I’m knocking on your cement walls and I don’t care
What you say or what you do…but I’m tired
Of you fighting me…I don’t want to fight you
You make me crazy, make me insane…
I would hate to lose this long time relationship
Life doesn’t have to equal pain

I've read so many flows by you, nice to read a recent one. Your words are brimming with the pain of heartache...no, life shouldn't have to equal pain. I could feel this poet.
