The thread is devoted too potentially life changing information for those of us interested in living off the grid. Due to the recession and the season of 2012 information regarding this is increasing very rapidly. Obviously this is where the power of the internet comes into play because no one is reporting this at your local news stations. People are obviously motivated towards living beyond the grid for a reason. It's time to put the current system of control in it's grave. To do so let us remind ourselves we have always had everything we need. If you are unsure about that statement, unfortunately the majority of this information may go way over your head. As native Earthlings we have always had everything we needed. And I am speaking about BC age here. Before Caucasians.

Please feel free to add as much vital information to this thread as you can. Information that we can use to live off the grid and in a nutshell survive without feeding power hungry systems that use us as batteries.

What do we need to live beyond the grid?

one of the biggest problems, for everyday folks is to find a calculator or chart on line that can tell a person exactly how many and what type of solarcells they would need to power an apartment based on rooms and components used.

Also whether or not a car battery converter is necessary with small solar panel devices

To live off the grid I believe it begins with the attitude that we can. An attitude that is beyond dependence and welfare of the system itself. The reality is a large majority of us while we may say with our mouths that we do not want to be controlled are still dependent on systems of control. For some this is generational of course. But because it is generational does not mean the spell cannot be broken. It can. And it has. But we need to express an attitude that says this. The attitude we present- creates the consciousness that we need. If we remain in the attitude that we need certain systems to provide for us, so shall it be. Our first medicine for health is our attitude. Our attitude is what filters out crucial information as well. If you really want to change your world, change your attitude.

The attitude many of us have towards our health will keep us on the grid no matter what we try to create. Western medicine is not designed to sustain life for the poor and middle class. It is designed to keep us alive just enough to profit from our illnesses, diseases and deaths. This has already been statistically proven. Why else would America have the worst healthcare in the world for the poor and working class?

Meanwhile many of us are led to believe Africa is full of disease and death. We are constantly shown images of a dying and starving Africa. What we do not know is that Africa is actually increasing in population and not dying at all, despite amazing attempts to kill off the population of our people. If we wanted to point at a people "living off the grid" certainly we can look at Africa and many so-called "3rd" world nations. How is it that Africans have survived such a harsh Earth for so many generations? The answer is because we tamed the harsh Earth.

Did we know that Africa is home to the some of the most potent medicines on the planet? No? What- didn't CNN do that report? Of course not. Well- that's interesting. Because I guess then it wouldn't make sense that some of the most potent medicines on the planet are sitting on a dying continent would it?

What we call "powerful medicine" is something synthesized from herbs/plants anyway. Hopefully our Westernized brains can understand that. There is nothing wrong with medicine when we understand their origins and administer them properly. The reason why Africa's plants and herbs are so potent and in many cases even stronger than medicines that are "synthesized" from plants is because of the the amount of Sun power Africa's soil receives daily. One potato from rich African soil is equivalent to a full plate of rice - some collard greens and steak. Meaning many of us would be full from one potato.

The problem is no one is going to tell us these things unless we open up portals of communication with native Africans and Africa. Medicine is a major major grid dependency. Because of this I would like those of you who are seriously interested to look into "Moringa" - this plant is saving lives and has been saving lives for many generations. Moringa is used to treat over 300 diseases. I will not name them. I will only say that Africans in America suffer painfully from many of them. I will also say that there are many plants in Africa such as this one. And White people are the only ones taking advantage of the herbal industry in Africa. Herbs that can be grown in our backyards.

We are constantly shown images of a dying and starving Africa.

With all due respect vid clip stated the Moringa was used as a cure for malnutrtion,

with the money we spend on foolishness and non essentials in this country we could end malnutrition in not only Senegal but the entire West Coast

Many of us are in the position where living off the grid just doesn't seem feasible because of our finances. Forget attitude. We just cannot afford it. Most of the changes required involve a great deal of investment, time and patience. For that reason alone I am inclined to mention concepts that have a job industry behind them as well. Herbal/plant farming in Africa believe it or not is a billion dollar industry. We are not only speaking about medicines but textiles, cosmetics, soaps etc. Shea butter can be used as cooking oil as well.

Eventually what Black people in the diaspora must wake up and realize is that wealth and money boils down to the creation of a demand for products and services that are affordable to produce and that are marketed and promoted by their effectiveness. Most of the most popular markets in the world began in Africa. We should all know about marketing because this is first order of business for black people and this is what we have always been used for up until this very day.

We market everything from foreign religions to pig intestines. In actuality, the reason why many of us are still broke is because of a poverty consciousness that is also generational. The second reason is that we are not producing and controlling our own products, services and markets. Remember that "Ebay" was an African name before it became a global empire.
And did we know that more than 45% of the products on ebay are sold by people that have no product? They get paid for marketing for wholesalers.

So when we look at the issue of living off the grid seriously and realistically, let us also consider the fact that in order to do so effectively, we must create our own markets in order to generate money for ourselves. This can be done very simply. Without any product we can all market the products and services that work for us to those who may be interested. People get paid for marketing products and services. Anywhere in the world. We market all the time for free, why not generate money from doing so? This method can be used to generate wealth, or just enough money to sustain us with a daily, weekly or monthly income. Just as an online forum can be a market for information, all types of markets can be created online to serve different purposes. There are millions of small Black businesses around the globe that are dying for growth but cannot because no one is marketing them, thus no one knows they even exist. This is especially true for Ghana and Nigeria. Which is why White companies can easily sweep in and buy them out.

Even if it's not Africa, the bottom line is money is earned thru markets and marketing. People who learn to live off the grid do so by organizing, creating markets and promoting the products and services they believe in. It is really that easy and simple. Oprah and Bill Gates are only using a tried and true formula.

Since I've mentioned herbal farming, we may also notice allot of people are returning to backyard and rooftop gardening. This is also a big business. Allot of home owners are becoming interested in this business as well. Even if we do not have backyards ourselves we can learn how to garden fruits and vegetables and sell our services to people who already have the land.

Wouldn't we be better off with local community farms anyway? Doesn't it make sense?

This information would be more for the technically savvy. But this is also a big business. We are definitely speaking about moving off the "grid" here, which is the electrical grid of energy most of our homes are jacked into. I will side with Van Jones on this, that this is indeed the perfect opportunity for Black youth to learn these skills and use these skills to earn their living. Most of us will not have the patience and time to invest in learning about these alternate forms of energy. But if you know technical minds, pass on the information to them and challenge them to research and learn more. Let us not make the mistake of turning our backs on these prospects only because they are difficult to understand.

There are 3 forms of energy that we can research that deal with powering up our homes. Solar power. Wind generators and Bedini free energy. These are the three that serious minds should look into. I am not speaking about forms of energy that might happen, or are going to happen- I am speaking about something that is happening. Thousands of people around the world have already converted to alternative energy systems.

How To Make Your Own Solar Power System

    Homemade Wind Generator (free energy)

FREE ENERGY Home Generator -Zero Point Energy - Off the Grid

Rest assured you will never see this invention. But the technology is ancient.
It's based on the Bedini effect, don't let them fool you, they've known about this energy for generations.

This is why people are taking issues into their own hands.
