    Pride
    Dignity
    Self respect
    Self sufficiency
    These are the virtues
    Valued by our society
    Where does
    Humility & dependency
    Fit in
Why must I be like a lamb
    Lamb’s are weak
    And completely dependant
    Why can’t I be like a lion
    Strong and cunning
I could eat when I am hungry
    Sleep when I am sleepy
    And roam where I please
    Why can’t I be a lion
    I DO NOT UNDERSTAND
    But to be like Christ
    The “sacrificial lamb”
I must trust in the Great I AM
    And he said
That I must learn to be a lamb

    Learning to be a lamb
    From the Great
    I AM

    WELL SAID!
    we must be humble
and dependant but not on man
    dependant on God.
(this is one of the great ones, MM!)

That was tightly written but my personal stance on the Lamb scenario is that the lambs are led to the slaughter while the Lion (Judah) shall again stand redeemed. The one called Christ was like the Lion and all in his image walks the same path. No controversy intended just commentary to let you know I'm reading you seriously, no doubt.

    thank you for the read

    Brotherman
for now i see through a glass darkley but through that haze it is my understanding that reliance on God and not self is a life long lesson that we must learn as exemplified in the story of Namen the leppor who was instructed to bath in the jordon 7 times not 6 not 5 but 7. It is through complete surrender and obedience to Christ that we are reedeemed. but like I said before I still don't understand completely and it is not natural to me but if Jesus Christ himself had to say "not my will but thine"?
