I am sorry but this just has to be done...

Note: This is not any attempt to frown on Sharpton's political or activist motives, but rather to the fact that he does not fit on a political talk show as a host.

"They want to disgrace this day, and we not giving them this day. This is our day and we aint giving it away"

Why does Sharpton find it hard to admit to something that is on the record?
And why did Reverend Martin Luther King Jr.'s niece choose Beck's rally over Sharpton's rally... makes you wonder?

Sharpton was more effective and less "attack friendly" when he was a guest on shows, and didn't have to rely on reading another person's script.

This one below had me in tears, it just would not stop!

    The First-Class, Five-Star Rev
Al Sharpton demands the best when he speaks at public colleges.

When he speaks at public colleges and universities, Al Sharpton flies first-class, stays in upscale hotels, travels to events in a chauffeured vehicle, and often brings a bodyguard or aide with him. He makes these demands on taxpayer-funded institutions, despite owing as much as $4.5 million in unpaid taxes and penalties.

“In terms of travel, Rev. Sharpton travels first class on flights and will require a large black SUV for transportation and, if the trip requires lodging, he will require a suite in a four/five star hotel,” wrote Sharpton’s assistant, Abyssinia Tirfe, in an August 14, 2014, e-mail to Michigan State University (MSU) obtained by National Review. “Also, Rev. Sharpton travels with [an] aide who will require [an] economy ticket and a standard hotel room (if needed).”

The records show MSU assented to these requirements and began arranging them, even e-mailing a travel agent to book a $1,469.70 first-class flight and reserving a suite. But an MSU spokesman says Sharpton ultimately covered his own travel for this particular trip. It’s unclear why.

A few weeks earlier, Ohio State University (OSU) and Columbus State Community College (CSCC) had together provided Sharpton with first-class airfare from New York City to Columbus, which cost $1,552.20. They also paid for a coach flight and hotel room for Sharpton’s bodyguard. A sport-utility vehicle and chauffeur cost an additional $253.80. Between lodging and room service, Sharpton also ran up a $358.50 bill for a one-night stay at the Westin Hotel in Columbus.

Such VIP accommodations aren’t typical for speakers on campus. OSU “had to put in special requests for the Black SUV, first-class ticket and a suite for Rev. Sharpton (oppose[d] to a room),” wrote Larry Williamson Jr., director of OSU’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion, in an e-mail to Sharpton’s assistant. “These are 3 exceptions that are not standard university requests.”

Al Sharpton’s VIP travel demands for college speeches

National Review’s Jillian Melchior on Al Sharpton’s reported VIP demands when traveling for college speeches.

Fox and National Review may have a political bias, so will have to research more to validate that these accusations are warranting of any attention.

NASCAR Funding Al Sharpton and NAN?

The National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC), a nonprofit that monitors the ethics of public officials, claims NASCAR is funding Al Sharpton’s activist group, the National Action Network (NAN).

The NLPC are calling on the popular racing organization to end the practice immediately. They wrote an open letter to NASCAR CEO Brian France and linked the recent murder of two NYPD officers, as well as last week’s shooting of two cops in Ferguson, to Sharpton’s activities.

Rev. Al Sharpton cuts ties with longtime collaborator, attorney Sandy Rubenstein, as rape claim investigators find sex toy

    October 7, 2014

Police found a sex toy and bloody condoms in Sandy Rubenstein's Upper East Side apartment Tuesday during their investigation into a woman's claim that the high-profile civil rights attorney raped her. The woman, who Sharpton called a 'key leader' in his National Action Network, was bleeding when a rape kit was administered at the hospital, sources told The News.

    Brother Sanford has been banished.

The Rev. Al Sharpton pulled the plug Tuesday on his longtime collaboration with Sanford Rubenstein in the wake of accusations that the civil rights lawyer raped one of the reverend’s most-trusted National Action Network advisers.

Less than a week after Rubenstein was part of the star-studded crowd toasting the reverend’s 60th birthday, he was out in the cold and feeling the sting of Sharpton’s sharp tongue.

“Even if it was consensual, why would he take a key leader of our organization back to his apartment right after a fund-raiser,” an angry Sharpton told the Daily News. “It's disrespectful to our movement, and the women in our network are absolutely outraged."

Rubenstein, who looked disheveled at his home in the Hamptons on Tuesday morning, couldn’t be reached for comment on his ouster from Sharpton’s circle. Word of the separation came as The News reported that police found a sex toy in Rubenstein’s swanky apartment and were checking it — along with bloody condoms found by the lawyer’s bed — against a DNA swab to see if it was used to violate the woman.

The woman was still bleeding when a rape kit was administered at the hospital, sources said.

The Case Against Al Sharpton at MSNBC

Rev. Al Sharpton has cancelled his scheduled appearance this week at the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) conference following criticism by two of its members that MSNBC promoting him would be a mistake given that he's a "non-journalist" celebrity rather than a seasoned reporter. According to Richard Prince at Journal-isms, NABJ secretary Roland Martin tried to reassure Sharpton that those weren't the views of the entire organization but Sharpton "was still upset by that and felt that by coming here and being a part, that would be the story," Martin said.

Black Journalists Criticize Potential Sharpton Hiring at MSNBC

    August 8, 2011

MSNBC president Phil Griffin thought he had found a perfect host to replace Cenk Uygur in the network’s 6 p.m. time slot in Al Sharpton, but has instead run into a buzzsaw of criticism from members of the National Association of Black Journalists who want MSNBC to choose a black journalist.

Howard Kurtz discussed the controversy with Eric Deggans, a media critic at the St. Petersburg Times, on Sunday.

Kurtz: Al Sharpton, on the verge of getting an MSNBC job. He would be the first African American with a nightly show on cable news in years and yet he’s not a journalist, he’s obviously a liberal activist and former candidate.

Deggans: Exactly and I think that’s something that worries some black journalists. We have been pushing hard to try and have diversity, particularly in cable news prime time. We don’t have a person of color who’s really hosting a show on any of the major cable news channels in prime time and to have that one slot go to someone who’s more of an activist and not a journalist…

Kurtz: Not a journalist by any stretch of the imagination.

    Deggans: Exactly…

This feels so disrespectful to chuckle at an "elder", but have been on record stating that Sharpton should be off the air, if not for his own sake.

But if Al can laugh at it, then rock on.
SNL Spoofs Rev Al Sharptons PoliticsNation

After 7 years of impersonating him, Al invites Kenan to PoliticsNation

    Feb 2015

Over half of the interview was the showing of SNL clips, and Kenan seemed to try his best to remain respectful while in his presence, probably not sure when it was proper to laugh or not to laugh.

Wonder if Kenan will be impersonating Sharpton anymore ($$$)?

TMZ has learned that Michael Richards is reaching out to civil rights leaders, asking for forgiveness.

Uber-publicist Howard Rubenstein, who was hired just today by the "Seinfeld" star, tells TMZ that Richards was on the phone today with Rev. Jesse Jackson and Rev. Al Sharpton, apologizing for his racial rant last Friday at L.A.'s Laugh Factory -- a rant captured on video and first shown on TMZ.

L.A. Clippers' owner Donald Sterling on how he feels about racism:

    • He is not a bigot... that is just the culture that he lives in.

Sterling: No, I don’t know that. … t bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people. Do you have to?
Stiviano: You associate with black people.
Sterling: I’m not you, and you’re not me. You’re supposed to be a delicate white or a delicate Latina girl.

Then attributes racism to the world and he only lives in it:

Sterling: It's the world. You go to Israel, the blacks are just treated like dogs.
Stiviano: So do you have to treat them like that too?
Sterling: The white Jews, there's white Jews and black Jews, do you understand? …
    Stiviano: And is that right?
Sterling: It isn't a question—we don't evaluate what's right and wrong, we live in a society. We live in a culture. We have to live within that culture.
Stiviano: But shouldn't we take a stand for what's wrong? And be the change and the difference?
Sterling: I don't want to change the culture, because I can't. It's too big and too [unintelligible].
Stiviano: But you can change yourself.
Sterling: I don't want to change.
