===========================================
LETS HAVE A CONVERSATION

Lets sit, you and I, and discuss a psuedo-thesis
Over a hot cup of Apple-Cinnamon tea and Marshmallow pieces
And yammer about things that pass the time
Saying what ever comes to mind
Lets talk about science, sex, psalms, and satire
Lets talk about things that we both admire
Raising topics that brings about a comfortable leverage
As we sip on our hot Apple-Cinnamon beverage
Lets break the ice, and cut the tension in half
Let me make a funny face that makes you laugh
Lets talk about you, and your sense of style
Lets talk about the things that make you smile
Lets have a chat, you and I, and of the moment, get our fill
Sippin' Apple-Cinnamon spice tea, and lets for the moment, chill
And say words of verbal conservation
Lets you and I have a conversation

Lets talk about things that makes us happy glad
Things that get on our nerves and makes us mad
Air out our feelings, cool and vent
Points of history and current events
Lets talk about the places that we have been
Speak of good times and sport a grin
Talkin' 'bout this and that, time and again
As I hand you a napkin to wipe tea from your chin
Lets soak up the vibe of the happenings around us
And talk about how it is that destiny found us
How out paths crossed, how it is we met
What it is we aspire to be and the goals that we've set
Let us rhyme, reason, reminisce, and remark
While on this verbal exchange, we embark
Lets be free to say what is on our minds, without reservation
One second blending in with another, as we have a conversation

Lets sit and verbalize the contents of our minds
I listening to you, and you to me, in kind
Exposing falabilities, and fantasies
Sharing intersecting realities
Listening to your voice for rings of excitement
Calm tones, somber vibes, and satisfactory delightment
Dabbing my ear with the paintbrush of your voice
That is as appealing to my hearing, as to my eyes the color turquoise
Lets say things at the same time, though the moment be unrehearsed
Then catch ourselves, and at the same time say "No, you first"
As our inhibitions melt away, and we revel in release
I watch you as you eat your last mashmallow piece
With no worries,... no hurries, no rush
I say to you "You're cute", and I watch you blush
And you reply with a thank you, with a giggle in hesitation
Lets finish the rest of our tea, and have a conversation

Lets talk about ocean swells, summer breezes, and rainfall
Family members, old aquaintances,... basketball
Scented candles, incense,... palm trees
Parties, fiestas,... Jamborees
Lets talk about music, minutes, midnights and matenees
Blue Monday's, New Tuesday's, and hot summer days
Lines and stanza's from a poetic first
And just for a moment, let the sip of our tea be a verse
Lets talk about topics taboo and violated
And switch to the topic of eye color and pupils dialated
Jumping from subject to subject as time ticks on
Not noticing temporal passage, conversing all night long
Before long, the marshmallow pieces are all used up
And the tea is but a stain on the bottoms of our cups
But thats cool though, 'cause we continue rhyming over old revelation
Lettin' the night slip into the early morn', engaged in a conversation
