    Let them Go.....

I stand in front of you
    Proud of my ancestral tree
One of Germanic, African, Indian and Spanish seeds
I am blessed with cultural diversity
    Singing songs of multicultural harmonies
But yet we still get bogged
    With social economical difficulties
I got one thing to say
    f*** the Presidency
    And his hypocritical policies

    That’s why my people
    Still live in poverty
    So when are we
    Gonna wake up
    And face reality
    This bull ****
    Is killing us slowly
    See we still suffer
    Of mental confusions
    Of hypothetical illusion
    Caused by his solutions
    Of his verbal pollutions
    And I’m still
    Trying to find the conclusion

    But there is no answer
    To his contorted consorted views
    Of political turmoil
Why you think we are in Iraq
    Where brothers and sisters
    Getting killed over bull s***
And what the hell did Saddam
    Have to do with 9/11
    When in actuality it was
    The Taliban lead by Osama
    Yet we in America
    Still singing
    Let My People Go

Let them go, let them go, let them go…….

And yet we are still here
    Worrying about the next man
    See what he got
    You see his car
You see the rims on his whip
    Come on know people
That is what they want us to do
    Letting us get money
So we can envy each other
Then steal, cheat, and kill each other
It is the pollution of the race machine
    That keeps us down

    Can you see
    White America isn’t the enemy
    It is you and I
    And them and those
    That keep our minds enslaved
    Giving us mental confusion
    Of illusive illusions
    Not just perpendicular contusions
    Our mental state of mind
    is being corrupted
    by our hypocritical
    metaphysical
    materialistic view
    of what we are owed

It’s like we still life in Babylon
    Where we make ill decisions
    Of contemplating provisions
    Our humanity,
    We still rely on
    Self inflicted pain of
    The other man
    Who in reality is still
    You brother man
still singing songs of let my people go

let them go, let them go, let them go…
