Soothe you
Ease you
If the essence from
my thoughts can
appease you, make it so
Let me be your blanket
this time
Wrap you up in comfort
sublime
Make you sigh
a million sighs
while the darkness
of your heart cries
shedding the residue
of sorrowful goodbyes
while continuing to
welcome anew
all the goodness life
has in store for you
Let the warmth of every
fiber of my being be
a sedative, setting
your mind completely free
Lay your head on your pillow
close your eyes baby and know
this too shall pass my darling
now and forever, I love you so...

Wow. I will never look at a blanket the same. I know it's a metaphor...But wooo i felt that poem..real nice real nice...that was some comfort food on my already full of infatuation stomach. Encore Encore
