CNN and other national media outlets need to give it a rest with the "Black Pastor React" stories related to the President's statement on same sex marriage. In the first place, black pastors are not the mouthpiece for black america. Secondly, black churches have enough to deal with on the subject concerning the homosexual population(s) in their own churches which includes church leadership. It disturbs me that the media will not use their resources to do any real polling on the issue which would give them a better snapshot of how black people feel about the president's statement. Instead they go to the ever egger Black Pastor to find out about how the black church/black community feels. To me it shows great disrespect to black people who don't want to be spoken for by the black clergy.
