Another voice now sings in the sky
    A sister from Philly
    Known as "Left Eye"

    Raw energy her signature
    Sometime volatile
    Prone to be hostile
    I can see her dancing
With her hand on her mound
    If you crossed her up
    She would burn you down

    It was never about talent
    For her and her girls
    It was all about platinum
    Millions of records
    Sold around the world

    A mystery
    Was she bad
    Was she good
    Like most with her flow
    She was mostly misunderstood

    She defined her generation
Sexy, sassy, and oh so bold
Many say she was just a scared little girl
    But hell on wheels
    So I'm told

    Rest in peace
    With your bad *** self
You did it all your way
    One of a kind
    Unlike anyone else

    BE
