Lamech was born around the time of the Uprise of Amen-the-Unifier of whom came up from southern Egypt and warred against the Asiatics located in northern Egypt. Prior to this great conflict and around this time of which was the turn of a millennium, Seth people began to be coerced into a terrible lot and eventually made to become ‘earth people’ or, ‘slaves to the ground’. They began to spend their lives, continually, digging large underground tombs and pits, and, they began to build up ‘lofty places’ or, burial mounds and flat top pyramids and also mastabas, [a one-level, flat top chamber] over underground tombs and such like in honor of the dead. These burial grounds are dated by the secular world and fit the very time period that DEATH BECAME A PHENOMENON as it is recorded in the Bible! The first generations of mankind based upon the life of Adam and Cain began to die off around the 3000s B.C. and by the time of Noah, THEY WERE GONE! Noah did not know Adam, he learned about him as we do today. So obviously, people became overwhelmed with the fact that people began to die of old age in great numbers at this time and prior to this, mankind did not experience death on such a great scale. As a result of this new phenomena, obviously, many people could not accept that great men and women had died and so, they began to adopt new ideas and beliefs such as ‘the belief in the afterlife’ and ‘the worship of the dead’. Shrines, temples and graveyards became great places of worship in North Africa along the Great Sea [the Mediterranean Sea], in Abydos [Abedos] near modern day Cairo and in Upper Egypt [South Egypt] and elsewhere. People soon made annual pilgrimages to these sacred places in order to worship the dead. Clay figurines and stone idols began to be made and worshiped and soon came human sacrifice. Servants became murdered and buried in the pits along with certain great men and women leaders of whom they had served in life. The ying-yang system was old by this time and for this reason, Seth people [or South world people] and the darker skinned Cainites became the more suppressed. This was the time period that Lamech was born into and finally, Amen-the-Unifier [the Bull king] rose up and conquered the oppressors of Seth and became the ruler of Lower and Upper Egypt. Lamech was born into an existence in which he was obviously trained in defense and after the death of the Bull king, the Seth people once again became targeted and sought out to become servants to the ground. Based upon the very words of the Bible and the history of the Thebans during that time period, it seems like Lamech became caught up in a seizure and forced to live in Egypt as a servant of the ground. In fact, Lamech prophesized that he would be delivered byway of his son, Noah and as I stated in a recent post, IMHOTEP & ...*, and the famous high priest, Imhotep and the life of Naoh do coincide!--[KEMET & IMHOTEP, father & son!?]--Remember--the beginning of Imhotep‘s fame was that he was living day-to-day in A GRAVEYARD--Saqqara! The Great Steppe Pyramid of Djoser was actually built in a CEMETERY [Cemet--Kemet]--a graveyard! Imhotep turned a desolate graveyard existence into A PLACE WHERE PEOPLE LONGED TO GO TO AND LIVE! He turned a gloomy existence into a brighter day! He created all kinds of jobs for people to be proud of. Imhotep built up this area to have hospitals, well constructed homes and, an extensive courtyard where a Sed festival became a great affair. He was a genius! Some historians say that the father of Imhotep, Kanofer [Ka-Noph], was from North Africa, [Noph] and it was in this region that ancient Thebans formed a culture in addition to Thebes in South Egypt. The name of ‘Kanofer’ [Ka-Nopher] was passed down to the 4th Dynasty. It was written to be the name of one of Snofru’s [Senoph-ru‘s] viziers. It is a name that connects these Thebans to the priesthood and to North Africa. Lamech more than likely became a captive in Egypt and taken from Thebes to perhaps Abydos [a graveyard], where Saqqara became the later graveyard for the 3rd Dynasty kings. At any rate, the timelines agree. Following history along the timelines too, by the time of the 3rd Dynasty, the high priest Imhotep certainly marks a time when the generations of Seth became upgraded. The pharaoh Djoser [Zoser] elevated the life and status of Imhotep, of whom was defined as initially being, a commoner! Based upon my research and assumption that Imhotep is Noah, the Bible becomes amazing and connects to the very reason why, the land of Egypt and all of Africa once became known as, the land of Kemet [Kem-eth; ETHiopia]. Lamech was the son of Methuselah [Kemeth; Methuselah] and the grandson of Enoch [of whom had a short lifespan]. And, according Enoch’s life [3390-3025 BC], it actually marks a time of strife, warrior-ship and martyrdom that matches the troubles of that time period. Human sacrifice and the worship of the dead brought about great sorrows. But even more important, a closer look at written history reveals the very meaning of the name of ‘Lamech’ [Mecha or Mecca]. Long before Lamech-Seth was even born, this name belonged to Lamech-Cain, a very famous man of whom defines the original and complete meaning of the name ‘Lamech’. His very life marks a time period that agrees with ‘a Classic Age’. It was Lamech-Cain of whom developed THE FIRST MECCA or, a city and a way of life that became ‘mechanized’! His generations became noted for being highly skilled in metal works, agriculture and shows that some mankind advanced at that time from being ‘hunters and gatherers’ to being planters and farmers. His life marks the height of the Copper Age [around 3500s B.C.]. However, it was also recorded that this same man also repeated the sin of Cain. He murdered a young man and thus comes an added meaning of his name ‘LAMECH’ [Lamaism] or, ‘sorrows’. The Cainites became great men and women long before the Seth people and for this reason, the descendants of Seth took on Cainite names and this is the origin of the father of Noah, Lamech-Seth. He prophesized his deliverance through his son Noah. And when Noah had his three sons, his youngest son, took on the name and meaning of Lamech. Ham’s whole life and generations confirms this amazing connection to the very name of Lamech! And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son: And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed. [GENESIS 5:28-9] http://quod.lib.umich.edu/cgi/k/kjv...ok=Genesis&chapno=5&startverse=28&endverse=29 Lamech-Seth died five (5) years before the Great World Flood therefore, he lived almost the whole time this great ark was being built. And it was the generations of Ham, namely, the Phoenicians [Phut and & Canaan Ham] that became masters at ship and sea! These post-flood people mastered the skill of shipbuilding and navigation of the waters! Although, Ham [Cham], the son of Noah, took on additional meanings to his name based upon his own life’s accomplishments and land inheritance, it was Ham and his generations that continue to prove their connection to the name and meaning of Lamech. The name of ‘Ham’ means ‘GREAT BUILDER’. In fact, ALL OF THE SONS OF HAM written in the Bible means, ‘GREAT BUILDER’! In addition, the name of ‘Ham’ [Cham] also means ‘WEST’ [specif. Southwest man], ‘hot’ [hotlands] and ‘hammer’ [smiter]. Long before the generations of Shem or Heth [Japheth] became known for any great accomplishments, it was the sons of Ham that had built great and incredible Meccas [cities] in their lands of the west! Today, some African scholars testify that all of Africa was originally known as ‘Kemet’ or ‘black lands’ and based upon research, perhaps, the confusion arises due to the origin of the name of ‘Kemet’. It was a name that belonged to more than one great man! Noah, the high priest of the living God, named his son after his father, Lamech but long before even his lifetime, it was the name of a great Cainite man of the Nodeast [Northeast] named Lamech-Cain.
