Black Women : Ladies....How do you tell your friend?

Isn't that what us as women want? A girl friend who will let you know if you're wearing something wrong or doing something wrong, out of love?

Yes, for real. Who wouldn't want a friend that can catch you before you trip on your own feet in front of the crowd? Real friends and family do this because they love you; when people don't care, that's when they let anything go.

You would be surprised and what someone would and would not want from a friend...even if it is with good intentions..

Example...
I had a best friend who was dating this boob, he had a live-in girl friend, a wife in another state, as well as a baby's mother in another state...
I never liked him from the moment we both met him (we met him at the same time in a nightclub)...Anyways, my bestie was in love with this dork...And she knew his circumstances, and acted as if she was bothered by it, but clearly she was not TOO bothered by it.
His live-in girlfriend had slashed my tires, thinking I was my friend because she saw him and I talking at the bar...But little did this dumb broad know that I was telling him to leave my friend alone...
Despite my tires being slashed, and me coming out of pocket to pay for my tires, my good friend stayed with the predator.
I told her over and over and OVER how much of a douchebag he was and that it would be best if she left him in 6ft ditch...and we could dig it together, like best friends.
But she left with the maggot, moved out of state and I didn't hear from her for a couple of years. Finally, she called and told me that when they had moved out of state he had changed...He beat her, cheated on her in her house, and was all the things I told her he was.
Well.....I guess one day she had enough, so she came home from work, woke him up, maced him, and beat with a bat and she ended up in jail.
SO....not every woman, girl, female, wants another ones help.

This wasn't the first friend that I had gone through this as well....

:em2100: !!!

Yeah, I guess not all want what's best for themselves if it means they can't have what they want at the spur of the moment, out of lust, or infatuation, and such.

But okay, I can't understand wanting a guy who's making it that obvious that he's not right; but I guess we tend to think ourselves so special sometimes that the guy would change for us? I feel I've been guilty of that, but I quit that fast!

And that's not being a very nice friend to put you in danger by who she decided to be with. That woman could have done more harm than slashing tires with her pinpointing the wrong woman.

Pretty much...Some women are blind, when it comes to dating men to what they wear...and it really boils down to their self-worth.
If I like you and you're my friend, I will be 100% there for you. If you're doing something I feel is wrong and is detrimental to your well-being or even if it's something that may make you look bad, I'ma let you know....because I only do for someone who I care about, what I would want them to do for me...

Now if I don't like you, it's 100% opposite of what I just said.

Women are very sensitive creatures. And can be very catty nonetheless...so it's like you sometimes have to be very choosy with your words. I have to be that way to my own mother...and she's told me that she didn't like what I was wearing and I got offended and on the defense.

And to be honest with you, I really hate talking to women sometimes. The other day I was talking to a woman and I can't remember exactly what I said, but the woman took what I saw WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY out of context...I do remember that I complimented her on the way she looked, she then proceeded to downplay it and say "No I don't, I look terrible..." And I said something that was in no way intended to be offensive, but she nearly bit my head off.

Outside of not believing in gay-marriage and such, they way women act sometimes gives me even more reasons on top of the reasons that I have NOT TO EVER BE GAY.

I'm sorry about ranting...I'll probably start a new thread based on what I just said :p

Lol, no worries. It's a real friend to be there one hundred percent, even knowing that your friend might not take your words the right way; you're a friend for going through with it anyway and not just going, "forget it, she can figure it out for herself!".

It's nice to see when people show they actually value true friendship! Where could this world be without it, huh? :D
