Everywhere I turn, from TV to magazines, to music, to movies, and even cartoons and advertisements..... I see the lack of Black Love, and the promotion of IR relationships.
The only time Black love between Black men and women is portrayed with any level of consistency, is when coonery and bafoonery is involved, in the form of BET, and fake-ality shows.
Granted, I don't watch alot of TV, but a precursory glance at the media is what I've seen in regards to this. "They" portray the notion that there is little to no hope for Black Love in today's world.
What have others seen in regards to this?
