NEW ORLEANS (AP) — A 71-year-old Louisiana prisoner who spent 41 years in solitary confinement and is now dying of cancer was released late Tuesday from prison, his attorneys said.
Late Tuesday, U.S. District Chief Judge Brian Jackson in Baton Rouge denied the state's motion seeking to block his earlier order overturning Herman Wallace's 1974 murder conviction in the death of Angola guard Brent Miller.
Jackson had also ordered a new trial because women were unconstitutionally excluded from the grand jury that indicted Wallace in the guard's death. And, he ordered him immediately released.

This brother bless his heart and soul, he was a political prisoner and people think Mr. Mandela's 27 years was something. This brother spent 41 years behind bars for a crime he didn't commit all because he was a Black Panther. And believe me there are many, many more of our brothers and sisters victims to Cointelpro actions, The FBI uses local Police and Sheriffs to plant false charges on people they target as potential Black Messiahs. The Black Messiah isn't a Messiah for all Black people though just one who can unite Black Nationalist, who in turn Black Nationalists as a group can unite all Blacks. You see they don't have to target every Black man, woman and child just target the morally strong and courageous ones who would dare organize and oppose White Supremacy and Racism. And if the target comes from a poor family and is unable to afford proper legal representation they can pull off something like this and keep the target incarcerated for years before the illegal judgment is overturned.

Cointelpro has three stages of actions, they are to discredit the target then once his or her reputation is destroyed incarceration is the next step. Then once they get the target behind prison walls where there are no cameras, no media or communication with the outside world they can easily kill you by poisoning you, starve you, torture you, set you up with other criminally insane inmates or have the guards kill you. This is what is meant the revolution will not be televised for they can put you in one of their hellhole prisons and do anything to you and the world can't see it. And this brother was confined in solitary for 41 years, they probably feed him slop and the lack of adequate medical care lead to his current deteriorated state. Trust me his life is over, they literally killed him in the end. But salute him, praise him and remember him for he was a hero and good man.

Can it really be enough said about how our enemy divides us and conquers? So little if anything we do for the brave souls who stand up in our behalf and are persecuted with slander, false imprisonment and/or death. What I hear from lot of Blacks is outrage for his treatment by this wicked European government but I don't see any funds being raised to help his family with his medical needs, assist with his surviving offspring nor any of his funeral needs seeing his death is eminent as a result of his persecution.

We do a whole lot denying as a people, we abandon our delivers and make it so hard for others to step up after they fall. For instance Malcolm's family never received a dime from any of the millions of Blacks he helped after he brought the Nation of Islam out of obscurity into the forefront. Many brave Blackmen and women who are liberators die with nothing, they are made cash poor from having their reputations and characters criminalized by the racist White Supremacy system. We should pity them we should be sending their families money and making sure they are doing well and recovered.

Wow, Racisms head is blowing up bigger and bigger.
We will not see its demise in our lifetime, I'm afraid.
So happy he didn't die in prison and pray that with medical help his life might be prolonged somewhat, even recession if the holy power sees fit.

Enough said, as in you said it all. We haven't begun to talk about how the enemy divides us. I agree, we should have a benevolent fund set aside for our people; and the Group I introduced, yesterday, is making that preparation.

Fret not the evil doers my dear sister for their day is coming with the Most High and a dreadful day it will be. Whites who are rational know it is coming and they are remorseful for all the evil their people have done to other innocent human beings who only wanted freedom and justice. Such a day is coming when Blacks will gain awesome power and there will be call to exterminate every White person on the planet but mercy will win out over vengeance and some of them will live. We are the righteous both history and the future will prove it to be so, so fret not.

    In the Spirit of Sankofa,

Former Inmate Herman Wallace of 'Angola 3' Dies Days After Release

A Louisiana man freed from jail less than a week ago after 41 years in solitary confinement has died, according to his attorney and a close friend.
Herman Wallace, 71, died early this morning in New Orleans at the home of close friend and program director at Tulane's School of Medicine Ashley Wennerstrom.
"He was surrounded by a whole lot of friends and family in the last few days of his life," Wennerstrom told ABCNews.com. "He was definitely aware that he was no longer incarcerated and he was happy to be free."
Wallace left the Hunt Correctional Center in St. Gabriel by ambulance Tuesday evening and was taken to a New Orleans hospital for treatment of advanced liver cancer.
Wallace, who was serving time for an armed robbery conviction, was one of three inmates who were convicted in the 1974 slaying of a prison guard.

I think whatever and whenever we form an non-profit Black Nationalist coalition that is one of the things that needs to be addressed funding a legal and recovery fund for our fallen heroes and their surviving families.
