The controversial author and activist is scheduled to come to chat here at Destee's on Tuesday evening, April 18, 2006 at 9 p.m. EST/6 p.m. PST, and ALL are invited. Her 'tough love' stance on empowering the Black man and Black woman all over this globe has caused much controversy among those factions who are unwilling to challenge or expand their notions about white/nonblack 'supremacy'. Ms. Boof will be available to tell her own story and answer most of your questions about her work, life, and/or activism. You're welcome.....but do keep an open mind while you read. There will be some things you may not agree with....others you may totally identify with. At any rate, she brings a fairly 'fresh' and brutally honest outlook on our experiences as a race....and that is not always easy to swallow.
