What was that, and why did I do it?
Why did I put you through it?
I don't want you to misunderstand my intent

Just an effort to get closer to you
Encourage desires I hope to brew
And a little expression to give you a hint

With your delightful manner you had me
Then, the way you smiled at me
I needed to be closer just to be content

It was a great day; we were alone
Urges could not be postponed
I could not be patient for a verbal consent

Your eyes stimulated temptation
And I chased my inclination
Until every dime of my resistance was spent

I drew you closer, looked into your eyes
Hoping you would compromise
To this small portion of affection I'd present

You showed no resistance to my advance
I saw pure approval in you glance
I felt comfortable to go to this extent

Then lips met, and I was so very lost
Your lips were so very, very soft
For me, the brief moment became an event
