Killing me softly with your silence
Instead of that beat ya down violence
But tell me what's really the difference
They're both fatal without any pretense
Even if you are not part of the oppressing offense
You still guilty cuz you fail to come to my defense
How did we get to where we as a people are so slack
What happen to the time when we had each other back
Now you sit and watch my slow demise like its a TV show
Please, Please somebody tell me when, where, and how
Did we lose sight of the importance of the collective we
For upon the shoulders of many is how we stand to see
No matter what you think you didn't get there by yourself
For my brother someone had to lay the way for your wealth
But now that you've arrived you look back with such distain
You've forgetten that of me substance you are maintained
And it is to me you run in times of trouble and despair
Knowing without a shadow of a doubt that I'll be there
Yet you continue to murder me with your indifference
Please wake up and stop killing me with your silence

So, so true, indifference can kill as surely as violence can. Your precise word choice is amazing, the kind of read that should make us all take heed. Awesome write!

So true sometime saying nothing at all could be painful.
We should all show some kind od reaction in regards to caring.

    For someone to Break Silence
    Dont you See?
    That breaks The Chains
    THAT makes the Change
    Can't you See?
    Once you can Be
    in oneness with me
    We arrive
    Into our own timeline
    Regain your Mind
    See....Please....See
