We have seen from brotha Aqil's thread that the christmas story bears connections to pagan mythology which cannot be explained away. But we also know that this pagan mythology has its roots and origens in Khemetic spirituality which many of us do not dismiss as mythology.
It seems to me then that in our quest to return to our African heritage we cannot throw out the chicken with the grease. Can we divorce this event from its pagan and christian overtones and celebrate the rebirth of our Creator's life giving energy as our ancestors did?
