    Uh oh!
    Here it goes again
That feeling of wanting what you’ve had
And have but really don’t have at all
    Because u can’t quite grasp
    His total attention
    And have him enthralled
    In you and you alone
    As he fails to mention
    That he could kiss u
    See u
    Be with u everyday
    Although, if asked,
    You could honestly say
    You feel that way.
    But you wouldn’t...
    Because that would just create
More room for him to play
    With your time
    Your mind
    And your heart
Instead you keep the bottle capped
    And your thoughts under wraps
Although he continues to crowd them
You try to act as if it’s not all about him
As you find yourself shutting down all offers
From possible love of your life, eligible bachelors
As you say no, not tonight
For dinner since u suddenly have no appetite
Because what u feel in your heart keeps u full
You don’t want to take a break, not even for one spoon full
Of whatever is on the menu
Your brain is overwhelmed with thoughts of him
That your stomach can’t get a word in
    So you lay
    And marinate
In nothing but, him, him, him
You’d think that this was a magnificent thing
    But really it’s quite disturbing
As you wonder if you are as heavy on his mind
And what he’s doing with his time
Since he is not spending it with you.
U want to call but you don’t...
U’d rather he call you to be assured you are thought about
In the meanwhile, you wait patiently hoping for that startling ring
    But nothing
As the night passes, it just gets more and more disappointing
U feel like crying yourself to sleep
But u refuse to bring yourself to weep
Instead you cry on the inside
    Keeping your pillows dry
    The bottle capped
    And your thoughts under wraps
    And avoid waking up puffy-eyed...

Hi Rich, lo', everybody! Thank you so much for actually taking the time to read me. I am overjoyed by your response.

lo', it doesn't necessarily make me happy to keep my feelings bottled up. At this point, it just makes me feel safe. A friend of mine said the same thing, that I shouldn't hold back, but right now, I just feel like I have too.

    Thank you for your thoughts.
