After being dropped as a spokesman for Pepsi, Kanye West issued the following communique:

Subject: Subject: Kanye West's endorsement deal dropped by Pepsi...... Importance: High

    Greetings!....

Kanye West, former spokesperson for Pepsi, has since lost his
endorsement deal with the soft drink giant due to his publicized remarks
regarding the mishandling of the Katrina evacuees/victims.

I mean if you're like me...just SICK and TIRED of being black in America
and being mishandled, then do something. Our parents and their parent's
SHUT DOWN an entire bus system during the Civil Rights era by CHOOSING
to do something. Here is your opportunity.

I'm calling a boycott on ALL Pepsi products. If they want to drop Kanye,
how about we DROP them! And as much as I love a good Pepsi and a bag of
Fritos, I'm not buying another Pepsi including any of their family
products (see link below) until a formal apology is given and a donation
is rendered to the Red Cross (or a similar organization) in the sum of
the amount of Kanye's contract with Pepsi.

OK YOU PEPSI DRINKERS . WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY??????

Boycott it anyway. Either that or find a group of black people who are ready to take it over, so that we can begin to earn some money for the community.

As a CORPORATE INVESTOR, I agree with the idea of "taking it over".

I bought shares of Sirius Satellite at $2.45 per share. I would appreciate more Black folks investing and "taking over" the Satellite Radio market as well while it still has growth potential. Then an effective boycott of Pepsi by-products would be effective by not advertising those products in a growing market.

If Black folks just switch from Pepsi to Coke or Royal Crown without investing then all it does is switch momey from one predominately white power structure to another.

We need to make a more concerted effort in putting our money where our mouth is otherwise we continue to put both feet in our mouths instead.

    Peace!
