Dear Brothers and Sisters:

We engage in deep dialogue about our situation here in America.
We talk about our problems, history and hopeful solutions.
We all know the history of our common enemy and his tactics. The thing is through it all we as a people have continued to survive on many different levels. We may or may not find solutions to our problems in our lifetime only GOD knows this, but there are some things that our common enemy cannot make us do.

He can’t make us look at television programs that we don’t like.
He can’t make us go to his mall.
He can’t make us buy the fashions that he says is ok.
He can’t make us buy the car he wants us to drive.
He can’t make us not love, respect and support each other.
He can’t make us buy or listen to music that he approves of.
He can’t make us turn to his radio station.
He can’t make us go to his colleges or universities.
He can’t make us not to give to an organization that we support.
He can’t make us not to thank GOD for giving us another day.
He can’t make us buy fast food from his restaurants.
He can’t make us not to vote.
He can’t make us not to take care of our communities, neighborhoods keeping them clean and safe.
He can’t make us support another ethnic group who doesn’t have our best interest in mind.
He can’t make us buy hair care products from other groups who don’t even use them.
He can’t make us not to support and love and teach them right from wrong.
He can’t make us smoke, drink, buy, sell or use drugs.
The point that I am trying to make is there are some things that he has little or no control over.

We know his-story; it has shown us he will continue to try to:
Disrupt; discourage; disenfranchise; disgrace; discriminate; disapprove; disappoint; disagree; disavow; discredit; disallow; dismiss; dissipate; dissociate; distort; disable; discomfort; distress; disregard; disrespect; disfavor, cause discord and keep us at a disadvantage, just plain ole dis us.

Despite all of this through the centuries our ancestors and their descendents (including us) have shown that we are a resilient people, many sacrifices have been made for us to be here today.
We owe it to their memories; to take advantage and focus on the things we can do ourselves.
We should do these things not only to send a message.
We should do them JUST BECAUSE WE CAN!

PEACE AND PROSPERITY!!!!

Are you getting your fair share?
You Compare!

Lots of " D " s

Real things done daily to African Americans.

We talk about Our History.
But haven't provided within that conversation.

If you can't sit on your front because of crime.
If you can't sit like I did. As a child
On your front steps on a nice summers night.
With your friends and family.

No more signs saying!

No Justice No peace.
No Peace unless there is Justice.

Fear is real.
Intimidation is real.

If a child can't walk home safely from school
Without them fearing or the parents fearing.

That a predator of children.
A child molester, or a sex slave trafficker of women
Young girls, young boys, or someone selling drugs
In your neighborhood won't befall them.

Then...It is not being addressed and talked about enough.

If you report a crime you are targeted.
Considered a Snitch

Targeted by the same elements that hold hostage peace.

Guns = Crime.
People break into homes and steal guns.
The bullets are never stolen.
They can be bought freely.

The streets are flooded with guns brought in from other locals.
Bullets are bought local.

Lasers can be used.
Bullets should be coded and serialized.

If a chinese man can write an entire letter on a single grain of rice.
It does exist.
I saw it here.

If we allow our government to say
If we continue to sit willey lynch nilly
Killings all round us.

red"]RED...Blood stain ground..

Wash the brains over to the side
so the fly A*s shoes we wear don't get stained.

I saw a few looking helpless but willing.
To stand UP!

Change something.

I'm looking for more of those Brothers.

That shell casing should be serialized.
That means every police bullet is tied
Back to them the Killers.
Every drug lord has to throw knives again.

Shells are found at the scene.
If they are stolen from an owner.
They should report it im...medi..at..ely.

NRA.. oh Yea
They vote.
Membership High.
Up in the Thousands.

Couldn't be more than have already died
In these mean city streets
We try to live in

Bringing GrandMothers
To their Knees.

Officials would never code bullet casings with lot numbers.

Is that a statement?
Or is it being said as a Fact?

I don't know, I haven't been told.
How many others have my back!

To make a reality
Cities looking again like palace's.

I Bet YA...Ten Million Brothers could RISE to That!!!

A vote would make an official loose their job.
Or an election.

How Horrible!

If the right to vote is in the way of civil living
That right is being disenfranchised from African Americans to demand laws and processes that check high crime.

No one looses their right to bear arms.

Conversation and talk about breaking away from European ways.
But no conversation about the number one European problem.

The First Amendment.
Bear your Arms.
But the bullet and the ballet are tied together now, by serial number.

Not a single police car is seen before the crime.
Ten police cars arrive after the crime.
It is known what kind of gun was used, by the casings.
What is not known is who's gun.

The police job is to make sure he / she is protecting and serving.
Not intimidating and killing.

Get on the city officials.
Taxation without representation
Have plagued African Americans long enough.

No one needs to get hurt.
Tolerating any longer high crime must end.
It has plagued our community's long enough.

Folks that rob, cheat and steal are lazy and don’t care to work for their own personal or material needs. Yours will do.

Killing to them to get these things is OK to them.
No matter the color.
In their minds the ends justifies the means.
They are selfish, and cold hearted and not worthy of our support.

Disenfranchising to deprive of any right privilege or power!

Oh yea.. King.
I guess Malcolm spirit was rising on my mind.
He said " The So Called Negroe "
The fire he had before he visited Mecca.
I love them both.

http://www.who2.com/ask/natturner.html

Nat Turner was a black preacher who led an 1831 uprising in Southampton County, Virginia in which at least 55 whites were killed by a group of about 50 slaves.

Turner was a deeply religious man who claimed to have visions and directives from God.

On the night of 21 August 1831 he led four other slaves (Henry, Hark, Nelson and Sam) on a murderous spree near the town of Jerusalem, killing men, women and children in their beds. By the next day his mob had grown to at least 40 or 50, but the local militia confronted and captured most of them.

Turner escaped, but was eventually captured in October and tried. He was hanged and skinned 11 November 1831.

Before he was executed, he described his actions to Thomas R. Gray, and "The Confessions of Nat Turner" was later widely published in newspapers. Turner's failed rebellion led to hundreds of blacks being murdered by white vigilante mobs, and spurred a new set of strict codes that limited the activities of slaves.

Do you think it was Christain Religion that caused Nat Turner to crack like this? Or was it Religion in General.

Because he got several others and the whole lot of Men and Woman later went on a spree.

Could it have been even a Religious Man. A Slave man.

Just said. Enough.

http://www.who2.com/philliswheatley.html

Phillis Wheatley was an African slave in Boston, Massachusetts when she became the first published black poet in America in 1767. Wheatley came to the Boston slave market in 1761 (some have guessed from Senegal) and was purchased by John Wheatley for his wife, Susannah. Named Phillis and given her master's surname, it was estimated she was between 7 and 8 years old. She quickly mastered English and the Wheatleys saw to it that she learned literature,

As look back at the history I do know.
Our ancestors rose after each turmoil.
Like a Phoenix bird to become something even greater.
I think this alone has White Americans.. fascinated and they would never want us to leave. Break away.

Because a people the resiliency qualities we have. Would be dangerous and rule another 700 years or so like the Moors did.

Seven hundred since 1300's its over..
Our Turn to RULE Again. Our own 7 year itch.

They haven't figured how come we suffer so much and still maintain such a loving nature most of the time.

Keita

I do well reading your works and post.
I don't often go back 2000 years into what our religious philosophy or history was. To many unpronounceable words for me.

================
Today we are what?

6th or seventh generation African American.
I believe we are seventh.

Everyday issues in my face issues, put some bread on the table now, turn the lights back on issues.

Weigh a brother Down. But I do what I can to stay involved.

2000 years back, is a ways back for me. I research a lot back to at least the fifth generation or so to get their stories. They spoke and wrote things we should know. I know they wrote them.

============

Have you ever read the slave narratives?

There are hundreds. I spent weeks reading them again and again.

They bring a closer understanding of our Ancestors in their words.
Forty Acres and a Mule was No Fairy Tale.

How American Caucasians slipped out of that one is classic.
I think I posted that a few years ago.

Actual stories from Our Ancestors that recall at least from 1831.
