The Tragic Story of Mrs. Racy Taylor-Courtney (1919-2017) is yet another reason "Juneteenth" means absolutely nothing. Mrs. Recy Taylor-Courtney died Dec. 28 in 2017 ---a few days short of her 98th birthday. Her obituary appeared in the New York Times.
