I found my voice in your lips
and my life in your eyes
your greenish-grey clouds
that are truely my sunshyne
giving uncertain clarity
that i allow to rain on my body
tears flow into my vally
causing flowers to open
petals softly inviting only your touch
your lips to mine
cause a calm before the storm
winds inhale and exhale slowly
breezes whispher your name
i am yours
wanting nothing but your butterfly
kisses flirting with my sensitivity
playing your strengths to my weakness
encouraging admissions of vulnerability
that only you can protect me from
security with the slightest stroke across my belly
inadvertly protecting our future
the never to be inhabitated womb of our children
I respect that
I need that
need you fully engaged in this growing feeling
need you to cultivate my ripeness
so my wine can flow
sweet with satisfaction
bitter because i gave in
gave into the idea that the sun has blessed our journey
through highs and lows and words with no meaning
from a voice i didn't know could be mine
I am okay
because I found my voice in your lips
and my life in your eyes
