The Michael Jackson Estate needs to boycott this very disrespectful movie.

Joseph Fiennes as Michael Jackson shows race problems before Oscars row

Casting of white actor to play the black icon in a ‘post-9/11 road trip’ tale shows us Hollywood has learned nothing from the #OscarsSoWhite controversy

... The internet has been ablaze questioning the wisdom of Fiennes going forth to play the King of Pop in Elizabeth, Michael and Marlon, the tale of an alleged road trip taken by Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor and Marlon Brando after the attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001. But according to the British production cable channel Sky Arts, the casting is a done deal, as the half-hour comedy was shot last year. Though a story surfaced this week quoting Fiennes as if he just received the script “the other day”, the project is already in post-production ...

hey.. it's their production.. they can cast who they want. We don't own MJ.. he belongs to the world. It would be interesting to see Joseph Fiennes play MJ.

There are any number of black actors that could have played this part. This is BS!

Nope. We didn't invent jazz, rock and roll, hip hop, soul, house, disco or any other pure American genre of music.

yeah.. so. .because they exist.. that means they should be hired?.. nothing to do with individual interest.. or availability.. or compatibility.. or finance.. or any of those details?.. just.. whether or not an actor looks like MJ or not?.. ah.. if film production were really that simple.

anybody can play anybody.. it's "acting". A man can play a woman.. a nice guy can play an azzhole.. a gay guy can play a straight guy.. a young person can play an old person.. a dark person can play a light person.. etc.. etc.. etc.. and a white entertainer can play a reluctantly black entertainer.

If you step away from your black feelings for a second and take a look at it.. Joseph fits right in with MJs white skin.. his white friends.. and his white kids..

you know good and well that mike did not want to be black.. don't revise history now that he's gone.

Right, we did all those things, and on top of that, we populated the earth. So, they could have found a near white skin brother, know what I'm saying?:)
