I'm not being sarcastic, but do you mind if I ask why you're posting the passing of Smokin Joe, when we lost him over three years ago? His passing was posted by another member yesterday, which kind of confused me too. I just assumed he was paying Joe Frazier a tribute after losing him in November 2011. But when I saw your post, it leads me to think a lot of people didn't know Frazier was gone. I do remember he passed the day before Heavy-D did. In fact Heavy-D was texting someone of Joe Fraziers passing right before he collapsed. I did notice Heavy-D's death over shadowed Joe Fraziers in the media, which surprised me a little. When Heavy-D was in his prime, I don't remember him getting a whole lot of respect, although he was well known in the rap world. I remember years ago he tried to enter a club in the DMV, and they wouldn't even let him because he didn't have the required dress code (shirt with a collar)...how stupid. Anyway, I'm not here to ridicule you if you didn't know Frazier passed three years ago, but it leads me to wonder if Heavy-D's passing over shadowed Fraziers death that bad, or if there was some kind of media block-out of his passing in some areas of the country.

Yes it did get confusing for a minute ... There's a feature below each Thread that consolidates "Similar Threads," this same feature is available when posting a new Thread. Although it may not catch all similar Threads, its worth taking a look at before posting.
